UFO? not what I was thinking...
I saw that earlier. Didn't even know you could get urinals that rise from the ground.I think this meets the definition of surreal

There are a few in London to try and discourage people from just pissing up the side of buildings.I saw that earlier. Didn't even know you could get urinals that rise from the ground.
They were initially trialed in Bristol "City centre" (even though it's nowhere near the centre as we both know) and I remember seeing the story on Points West and thought nothing of it at the time. Until I found myself using one only months later as a young hoodlum. Strange experience because there was a riot van parked up with coppers walking around being friendly as a bunch of idiots ****** out of their heads answered the call of nature in public. I even saw someone vomit in one. Charming lady she seemed.I have seen these in Bristol city centre, they seem a sensible idea but very sad to hear that a man has died because of one
Lovely recollections there, thanks @Matt.GCThey were initially trialed in Bristol "City centre" (even though it's nowhere near the centre as we both know) and I remember seeing the story on Points West and thought nothing of it at the time. I had no idea these things had been rolled out elsewhere in the country? Or if they're even still there in Bristol (near the Hippodrome at the bottom of Park Street if my memory serves me right?). That area has been remodeled more times than Katie Prices boobs.
Sounds like a nasty accident. Poor guy. I'd be interesting to know how this could have happened as surely this kind of thing would be built into the design?
Easily attainable on most of the dual carriageways I know. Also, how do you do 136mph on an A road?!
