Norfolk council sorry for wrongly telling man he is dead

I wouldn't usually post two in one day but this is just absurd. How could a council type up this letter, print it out and send it without checking that the person is actually dead and realising they are supposedly sending this letter to a dead person?!

A photo of a Marks & Spencer Colin the Caterpillar cake has gone viral on social media after a shopper revealed the cake had no head.

The shopper, who purchased it from the Crawley store, said she was 'miffed' to discover Colin has 'lost his head'.

Messaging Marks & Spencer on Twitter, she said: "Pretty miffed to find my Colin has lost his head! Must have been a wild night in the Crawley store!!!

"His face is the best bit as well! @AldiUK I’m sure that Cuthbert wouldn’t let me down like this!"

...

The photo sparked a humorous response from Aldi, which tweeted: "Before you even ask, we’ve got an alibi."

And here's the article: BBC News

A driver captured the moment police chased one of their own patrol cars down a country lane - before seeing it crash into a hedge.

Motorist Karl Johnson, 29, was in the quiet lane when the patrol car sped around a corner.

He then saw a police motorcyclist followed by another marked police car in pursuit of their own force's vehicle.

Police said a 19-year-old man from Wattsville, near Newport, has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking, dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, driving while under the influence of drink or drugs, driving with no insurance, assault and criminal damage.

He was remanded in custody.
