[2024] Nemesis Reborn: Construction and Speculation

Honestly, my only issue with the colour changes is that the real track won't match the dummy track on the station. Otherwise, I don't see any issue with the changes Towers are bringing to the table.

I would say it's reasonable to assume that any dummy track will be replaced with black, re-sprayed black, or just removed?
I wouldn't be surprised if the dummy track is removed as it will no longer be thematically appropriate due to the Phalanx theme.

Why would it be? The theme is still (most likely) going to revolve around the Nemesis monster, feel like the reborn subtitle pretty much confirms this

The dummy track is supposed to show that the track is the monster's tentacles. However, now that the Phalanx are seemingly being incorporated into the theme more, the dummy track won't make sense.

Crikey, I love all the expert opinions on here who know better than the project team itself. Just wait, I know patience is short and we’re all keen to see, but this topic will certainly change when they do something different!

Maybe they'll fix the "See the blood flow! Approach if you dare!" announcements
Are you on about the ones in the station? The ones with the man shouting “NEMESIS!” followed by a catchphrase like “Once dormant, now resurrected!”?

If they return, I do hope that they re-record them slightly more professionally, like the announcements on Thirteen, The Smiler and Wicker Man. Those rides have similar announcements interspersed within their themed station audio, and they sound really good and professional, whereas Nemesis’ sound a little more like an afterthought. They don’t blend nicely with the station audio like the newer rides’ do.

I remember when I last rode Nemesis with my dad, he said to me “Those announcements sound like they were recorded by Bob the cleaner during his lunch break”…

I've never been fond of the vocal announcements. Whilst themed, they still gives off a cringy Six Flags/Cedar Fair stance. I'd be happy to see the back of them. Jazz the soundtrack up, ramp up the volume and slap some good bass on it and job's a good 'un.

I think its been discussed before but the station announcements used to have a vocal effect of sorts on them (making them sound deeper and a bit demonic) but it must have broken at some point over the years, leaving us with what we had in recent years.

I would miss them purely for nostalgia however I agree if they are wanting to modernize the ride they need to be replaced with something a little more theatrical.

Would Towers need to submit an application for any station changes or additional themed pieces? I’m not sure what the limitations are in that area of the park.

It would be interesting to see what changes (if any) they make to the station or area in light of the shift in change of theme.

In terms of announcements, I imagine they will re-record everything, no doubt we will see a new or re-recorded soundtrack, so it would make sense to create new announcements at the same time.

I detested them and have said so before. They were cringeworthy, not needed and did nothing to help what atmosphere there was in the station. Personally, no announcements like that are needed; we know we're about to ride Nemesis and how good it is so don't need reminders! Wicker Man doesn't have anything like that other than safety and procedural ones. But announcements like on Wickerman "Visitors, we are opening the pens, take heed" and "Please exit to your left, there is no escape to your right" work well and a Nemesis take on those would would be great.

Just make them short or it'd be like 13 where you can get the offload and onload announcements overlapping when they're smashing trains out
