Looking at where they are at on the site and how long they've had for this build, I don't think it was really ever in doubt. But it's great to have confirmation either way.

In all seriousness though, interesting to get a peek at the new backstory for the ride, now up on the website.

So in this iteration, when the Phalanx setup Sub-Terra, it was a cover operation for an experiment to weaponise Nemesis. In true Phalanx fashion, the experiment went wrong and they lost control of the freshly-mutated Nemesis Reborn.

So Forbidden Valley is now essentially their field lab, hence the slightly more pristine appearance, which has just started to be ravished by Nemesis, reborn.

So the area has gone from Post-apocalyptic to... early days Apocalyptic.

What stands out to me from the new backstory is mention of ‘acidic saliva’, sounds to me like they potentially do intend to bring the waterfalls back but have come up with a reason not to make it red. Ha!
