Warner Bro Abu Dhabi

This what I orginally thought and was just wondering why the website wasnt showing,
I am guessing Jan is going to be peak time to visit? Im torn between September and January

None of the Yas Island theme park site calendars seem to be working. You could email or call for confirmation but my understanding is they're all open all year.

Jan is far more likely to be busier though from all the reports i've seen it's quite rare for these parks to get overly crowded.

Thank you, I shall drop them an email and see what I can find out. Going to look at some reports and see if anyone has been in Jan to get a rough idea of wait times

Forbes are reporting that Warner Bros. Abu Dhabi will be the first non-Universal theme park to feature Harry Potter attractions.

The report claims that the park will be the only single "Harry Potter land" to have replicas of both the Hogwarts Castle and Diagon Alley, according to government issued construction permits.

I think this safely puts to bed the claim that Universal has "exclusive" world wide rights to theme park attractions for The Wizarding World. It's clear that these are rights are negotiated per territory.

I wonder if the park will venture outdoors into the blazing sun for these recreations, or if all these expansions will take place in expanded sheds? I would be intrigued to see how they pull off the scale of Hogwarts, if they are indeed staying undercover.

I would be interested to see what some alternative Potter rides might look like. The Batman attraction here is already a take on Forbidden Journey's ride system, so I expect we'll see something new. Can't imagine that Universal will be putting their own patents and designs up for bid.

I’d expect them to be all indoors considering the rest of the park is.

They’ve done a fantastic job for the existing areas conveying day and night. We are thinking of visiting for Christmas assuming the world hasn’t blown up though would like to know when these are opening as they’ve already been advertising them for several years.

It was announced about 3 years ago that Harry Potter attractions / expansion was coming and it's been on their website for over 2 years too. However we've heard next to nothing about what type of rides / experiences they will add.

A friend of mine who lives in Dubai visits quite regularly and has said the expansion building which has added onto the main indoor building looks enormous though.

However given what's happening right now in the Middle East.....I'm not in rush to get back any time soon that's for sure.

Really interested to see a different take on a Harry Potter area.

Being all indoors (presumably), perhaps it could feature more interior Hogwarts locations? That was one thing I was always a tad disappointed with at Universal.

Warner Bros is a wonderful park. Absolutely loved my day there.

The dark rides in particular are out of this world but they do lack a genuine stand out coaster. The two they have are family thrill and are fun enough but you wouldn't rush back to do them over and over.

So a world class Potter coaster would be a massive plus for them i think.

They’re building a new Superman coaster in the DC area.

With that theme and their budget i wonder if it’ll be the second Vekoma Flyer soaring through Metropolis.
