The Finest Ale

I'm really into Tiny Rebel at the moment. Used to like Brewdog but their beer doesn't taste as good as it used to.
Clwb Tropica just hits the spot better than Punk these days.

.... I want to point out that Clwb Tropicana something something Perfect Draft ...... But I need new pants because VULCAN.

****** expensive home hobby though.
I had one passed on briefly, cost a nice generous customer well over a grand over a year I think!

I love Tiny Rebel but they also really annoy me because they make some truly awful beer, and while clwb tropica is still good for an everyday craft beer its absolute **** compared to how it started, but then they'll knock out some incredible stuff. If you know how to make good beer then make it all the time!

Drinking one of these after a fantastic day at Liseberg, park hours were 10am to 10pm and finished the day with a sublime twilight ride on Helix.

Beautiful view of the park entrance from our room at Gothia Towers.

Any one heading to Germany for Oktoberfest?
I went last year on a solo trip and had a fantastic time. I didn’t even really drink whilst I was there at the ground (to be honest I was a little intimidated about the whole process of getting a beer in the beer halls as I was on my own) as I was there for the rides. When the sun goes down and everything is lit up it feels absolutely magical and the atmosphere is superb. Make sure you bring lots of money with you as it can get a bit expensive, if you like extreme flat rides you’ll be in for a treat. A nighttime ride on Konga XXL with the flames, fog, and lighting was probably the best flat ride experience I’ve ever had.

😮

My local one shut down back in spring. It went from being the heart of the community to a "sports bar" that's so deserted yet always open that I'm starting to wonder if it's not a front for something dodgy.

They dont cut hair too do they?
I wouldn't know.

Ruislip spoons (I missed hallumi and needed a fix) did have a very interesting "Banoffee pie" ale though. It tasted like banana.... Actual banana, not the fake flavour based on the species that died out when the boomers were young. First few sips, I wasn't sure. By the end of the pint, I wanted more.

My favourite tipple has been down rated from 75.5% to 63%. To make up for it, have the normal spiced rum from them as well. I think I'll just about cope.
