It's only for 2 days a blast to the past, To be honest pay one fee is the better system than Pay per Ride and Free Entry. So two weekdays off peak are now sellouts.
Yet pay per ride is a thing of the past.
Funny old planet.

A Walkaround Pass would be better than to go along with standard one price entryIs it though? If your a grandma / grandpa who doesn’t want to ride but just see their grandchildren have fun?

Again, two weekdays in termtime have sold out. It's only for 2 days a blast to the past, To be honest pay one fee is the better system than Pay per Ride and Free Entry.
Technically some places are still in the easter holidays but also Pay One Price works out better. There's a reason Pleasure Changed it because they nearly went bankrupt in the 2000's and they had big investments in addition to the declining attendanceAgain, two weekdays in termtime have sold out.
To be honest, isn't it better to have a park full of secondary spending, than a nearly dead park on weekdays with the majority of children in education?
Pay one price may be better for you individually, but there seem to be a great number of people out there who want to attend the park, maybe do one or two rides, and nothing else.
This gives them that choice...and after such a sellout success, don't you think it will be back again very soon?
...There's a reason Pleasure Changed it ...
Mr Pedant here. It's still the Easter Holidays for many schools around the area, including LEA schools in Birmingham (only the second week).Again, two weekdays in termtime have sold out.
Easter holidays are over in every school and area I know.
These events are successful before they have happened.. they are a sell out days before the event.
Pay one price works out better for some, this event shows that one size does not fit all.
Simple.
Who changed what?
£10.00 for the wave is reasonable you charge roughly the same amount for Olympia Loopinf its also that price to prevent too many people going on it at one timeMr Pedant here. It's still the Easter Holidays for many schools around the area, including LEA schools in Birmingham (only the second week).

They haven't sold out. They aren't selling entry, which is your entire premise.
They are fully booked out, with free entry, for two weekdays of the Easter holiday.
I pity those who pay £10.00 for The Wave, with its recent operating throughput. I would not want to be the 283rd person in that queue.
Olympia Looping reportedly has a throughput of 2,880 people per hour.£10.00 for the wave is reasonable you charge roughly the same amount for Olympia Loopinf its also that price to prevent too many people going on it at one time
You may not but other people might Wave does need some work to increase capacityOlympia Looping reportedly has a throughput of 2,880 people per hour.
The Wave has a throughput of 282 people per hour.
If I were 283rd in the queue, it would take my just over 5 minutes to get on Olympia Looping. It was take me over an hour to get on The Wave.
It would take The Wave 10 hours to put 2,880 through it. Longer than the park is open for.
On top of all of that, The Wave always runs with one row empty and the back two rows are always reserved for Easy Access / Fast Access Passes.
The throughput, of the main queue, on The Wave is a little over 190 people per hour.
I would not want to pay £10.00 for The Wave and be the 283rd person in the queue.
I’m more intrigued as to how Olympia achieves that throughputYou may not but other people might Wave does need some work to increase capacity

5 trains, 28 per train, many blocks and 35 seconds dispatch intervals. Anton's designs with proper operations. I think in extreme times it can have 7 station hosts. Messing about isn't allowed and there is 1 queue so the air gates are full and ready.
The park is fully booked, it has a capacity of 15,000 people. It is open for 10 hours on the 24th and 25th of April (longer than normal operating hours, which I used above in my calculations). You may not but other people might Wave does need some work to increase capacity
