[2026] CBeebies Land Junior Coaster

The whole project seems like a waste of money.

Ditto. And I know us lot on here aren’t always the barometer for how the GP are feeling, but looking at Facebook I’m yet to see positive comments on any of this so far.

When they announce it being Bluey themed it'll garner worldwide attention.

Especially when it leaks that it’ll actually be a Worlds First reverse powered launch suspended flying water coaster with 23 inversions, AND themed around Dance Mode..

(and yes, I did break in to Merlin HQ and sneak a peek at their Dartboard of Ideas for that one..)

It is for little kids...grown ups don't need to "understand".
It isn't there yet, hsan't opened, so we can't expect much comment, 99% of parents will not have a clue that this is coming.
A second, "new", small coaster for infants.
Yup, I can see the logic, even though I'm in the juniors.

Make of this what you will, but the timeframe for Get Set Go's reopening has changed from "early July" to just "july"; 👀

They never set a date for so can get away with it been delayed due to garmendale blunder of not making the track line up due to increase in incline on the ride

Eventhough I’m glad they are keeping the ride, it just seems such a crazy and superfluous decision to remove a standard tracked ride in a young family area and mass shorten another one, just to add another random coaster.

I‘ll reserve full judgment on AT’s ‘worlds first’ Bluey coaster, but considering that almost anyone could ride those two additions and only a fair chunk could ride this, it does still feel a strange and senseless decision in many way.

If Towers wanted a kiddie coaster they should be looking at something more substantial like Troublesome trucks at Drayton or Farmyard Flyer at Paultons. This is a token effort with an IP slapped on top

It'll be fine for the kids, they will like it. They'll see Bluey and want to ride. Nobody really thinks the target market for this ride is going to be picky about length or how basic it is do they? It's not for us, so it's a fine investment imo.

Don't forget CBeebies is mainly aimed at under-5s.

Alton Towers should be looking at slightly larger rides, but for other areas of the park.

As has said before on here, the issue isn't so much the addition of the coaster, its the removal of the simple car ride suitable for all age groups and the shortening of the get set go track.

Thomas land is aimed at the same age range and they have a better coaster.

Another family coaster somewhere in the park would have been a better investment, Octonaughts does exactly thing

Would this new coaster been better if it was instead a Dark Ride replacing Postman Pat all weather fun from rain and sun, because that is a clear gap in Cbeebies Land.

I think Thomas has some appeal up to 7-8 years old. But also its just the way each land is presented, Thomas is a more well-rounded "kids" area with things for most under 8s. Whereas CBeebies has the CBeebies name on it, showing it is clearly aimed mainly at pre-school age.

The positive comments will inevitably come when the IP is announced. "Such and such a person's kid will LOVE THIS!" "My angelic bla bla is OBSESSED WITH"... etc etc.
Imagine if they theme it to Numberblocks instead and every mum on Facebook will threaten to shut down "CBBC Land"
