Yeah I know, not a great park (and I wouldn’t even be bothered to go there with free tickets) but this actually isn’t a bad deal for any local families wanting something to do for free.

I actually think I may have caught a very brief glimpse of M&D’s travelling down the M74 home from Scotland a couple of weeks ago… there was nothing there special enough that I could see it overly clearly from the road, but I could see something colourful-looking that looked like it could have been a ride!
The largest cred now operating there is probably family-sized at best, so I didn’t feel the need to ask my family if we could stop there. Had it still had the likes of Tsunami and Tornado, I might have considered going, but with the lineup now being pretty devoid of major draws, I felt that it was a tough sell.

New Merlin offer launched today.

I live nearby, and have visited a number of times in recent years
It’s definitely not worth travelling for. A teenage boy will take one ride on runaway mine train - their biggest coaster (and that isn’t big either. It’s a mild family coaster, far smaller than the one at Alton towers) - then decide that they’re done. They might spend an hour in the arcade if you’re lucky
Completionists may find it interesting, but I don’t think anything they have is unique to the UK. They have what used to be Alton Towers’ Spinjam, if that interests you
They do not have a Huss Condor (assuming you’re talking about this)
