You must be a joy to live next toAll parks should just ignore neighbours and do what they want its the reason we can't have more Fireworks Days at Towers or taller rides

I appreciate you’re joking/trolling but didn’t AT actually do this with The Mouse hence it had to be removed? So dropping £50m on a giga coaster that never runs probably isn’t a good move.

I’m not an expert on coasters but I guess the program settings for cycle 2 has neither been removed accidentally or it’s causing the ride to have all the downtime.

Can guarantee it’s not been “removed accidentally”I’m not an expert on coasters but I guess the program settings for cycle 2 has neither been removed accidentally or it’s causing the ride to have all the downtime.

Probably not, but a couple of weeks ago Liz Truss posted on LinkedIn that she's got a new job as an engineer at Drayton Manor and now it says she's looking for work. Can guarantee it’s not been “removed accidentally”![]()

Pardon my ignorance, but what does cycle 2 do that cycle 1 doesn’t?
It's just a better flowing cycle, but both cycles cover all parts of the circuit, just different directions in places.

Cycle 1 does the "main" gravity section first, then reverses back up the lift. The train goes down the lift forwards and back to the launch shed.
Cycle 2 the train reverses down the lift and arrives at the launch shed facing backwards. It then goes back to the lift and does the main gravity section.
The main difference in real terms is that cycle 2 does all the stop-start stuff at the beginning, rather than in the middle
What odds that there's actually nothing wrong with cycle 2 and it's just that they lost the only key to switch between the two cycles so they've had to order a replacement?

I went to the park yesterday afternoon with my son.
The operations on the Haunting has got worst.
Like they were back on to 2 members of staff again today.
Before we entered the building more Ivy been removed

Didn’t even know there was a gate there

Was this the original exit into the shop?
Anyway we went in at 4pm and was read out some rules:
No filming
No photos
No talking
No screaming
If you need to be leave at any time put your hand up and we get you out of the attraction.
Then they started the pre show video and afterwards asked if everyone was ok to continue then we went into the skeleton corridor which is still the same.
Then we entered the Library and they asked again if everyone was ok to continue and asked us to stand in the middle of the room then walked round us all twice then started the next pre show video.
After for the 3rd time asking if we all ok to continue then asked us to stand in 2 lines and counted each side to make sure we had 16 in each row and explained that each row fitted 2-4-2 and had to fill the back rows 1st then the front.
They led us though and safety bar come down and they started the ride but only the outer wall was moving so they stopped it and had to wait roughly 5 mins for
maintenance to come and they just reset
The doors and it started but they left the PA mic on so all though the mad house section all you could hear is the staff talking and then exited the ride. With the 5 min breakdown it took just over 30 mins to enter and exit the ride.

Think Hauntong needs similar sort of work doing to it that it had in 2016 new story, updated theming.. One of a couple rides Looping Group haven't done anything with yet.I went to the park yesterday afternoon with my son.
