Six Flags Quiddiya

As a self confessed home-of-sexual, I will never ever give any of these countries my time, money or interest. I get they are building that record breaking coaster there, and quite simply I have zero interest in it, apart from the engineering feat that it obviously is. Its great that all the white straight content creators (and non creators) will get to experience this ride (if they choose to) without ever having to fear for your life for being who you are and thus able to freely enjoy yourself.

But for myself and many many many other people (including in the coaster community) this ride / park / country is quite simply out of bounds for us.
It’s like everything else over there isnt it, they are doing it to try and whitewash themselves into looking respectable and be “biggest and best”. Underneath all the Instagram, Dubai has a very seedy underbelly doesn’t it.. and I imagine anyone going to Riyadh/Qiddiya of the female persuasion will rapidly come unstuck at the modesty requirements compared to eg Dubai too. I wonder if this park will have gender segregated queues…

Is it KSA or UAE that is building that ridiculous 30-mile long apartment block too?

I would imagine, given this park is in Saudi Arabia, that a fair amount of the visitors (if not a majority) will not be white.

Straight? Yes. Male? More than likely. White? Possibly not so much.

It is important that within our critique we're as accurate as possible.

The Line is a Neom project in KSA
