Paultons Park: General Discussion

Visited Paultons on Saturday and had a great day!

I’m someone that’s used to how the Merlin parks are ran so it was shocking to me that, on a school holiday weekend, the longest queue that I saw all day was just 25 minutes.

Vikings area is looking great already with some huge buildings being built, really is going to transform that area of the park that currently is always a bit dead.

From Paulton's Hoot's latest update, the new toilet block has been finished;

Doesn't it look fantastic! 😍
They've done a hell of a good ageing job in that, although, I would expect some more detail from it. Still is just a toilet block, so I will reserve judgment, but I have a few apprehensions.

Looks excellent very vibrant quite excited for this Euro Fighter, 2026 is shaping up to be great year for the UK Theme Parks. Valgard, Drakon, Aviktas, Paw Patrol Area. New Coaster at Towers there maybe more projects yet to be announced.

And a few shipping containers for theming
To be fair Shipping Containers work in some areas of Theme Parks for theming, Forbidden Valley, Dock World, Lost Gravity Area several others

Needs more Merlin Grey.

Most Gerstlauer Euro-Fighters I have done have been fairly smooth Fluch Von Novgorod, Speed No Limits even Saw the Ride has been smoother this year.

This whole Gerst Ache is overblown
Aye, most of these thoosies are as fragile as glass...if you could survive a Pinfari or Hero like I have then you can ride anything. Anything that's not B&M or Mack is a turn off and always quite snobby IMO.

Yeah true enough I have been on some brutally rough coasters. I recommend if you want a truly awful coaster go ride Volare at Wiener Prater that thing is horrendous
