Anyway we went in at 4pm and was read out some rules:
No talking
No screaming
I fear we may have caused these.

Being discussed in the Looping thread https://towersstreet.com/talk/threads/looping-group-general-discussion.6219/post-520419I just realised that Looping Group have bought the company that operates Waterworld in Stoke on Trent. They kept that quiet.
I can see this being incorporated into a season pass soon.
Like with Drayton Manor, I can see the company structure changing. Which will not make Looping Group liable to pay any fines should they arise from the recent death of that poor girl. I am not at all suggesting the sale is because of this, sales as large as this are in the talks for months if not years before, this would be no exception. But I cannot see Looping being liable to pay any fine, exactly as was the case when they took over Drayton Manor.

But I do see this might mean they start considering a Merlin style annual pass now with four attractions in the UK. Definitly scope at least for a midlands combo ticket deal with DM, WMSP and Waterworld.
It is quite creepy the 3rd Preshow is definitely unsettlingIs The Haunting actually scary or is it overblown?
Okay thanks. I'll give it a shot sometime. Always forget it's there. It is quite creepy the 3rd Preshow is definitely unsettling
Draytons biggest room for improvement is Operations and General upkeep of keeping things clean.Went yesterday with non thoosie family.
They loved it, the Chimp and I had an ok day but Drayton seems to go out of their way to be annoying. Nothing terrible, but just low level annoyance.
We had Tesco vouchers so had to queue up for the one window they had open at Vikings. There were 5 families in front of us, it took about 25 minutes to get seen - no idea why, just slow.
£9.90 for parking is shocking. The car park is litter filled gravel - not sure what my £9.90 is paying for.
The lack of queue times on an app or even at the entrance to rides is a pain. The website said park close was 1900, but when we arrived screens said select rides open until 1800.
1700 came and the queue time boards went off - so no idea which of the rides were "select' without walking up to them.
Gold Rush on one train and no cycle 2 - again, not the end of the world but just annoying.
Toilets are grim. They don't seem to clean them as much as Merlin parks during the day.
Good stuff - so much the 4 year old nephew can do, he had a blast. Thomasland queues were tiny, he was able to get on gold rush and accelerator (he's 1.1m) whereas at Towers he spends a lot of time wandering about to rides for his big sister to go on.
Gold rush went down and we were evacced from the station, got fast passes so managed to get the niece on the Wave.
5/10 for us, 11/10 for the nephew
Maelstrom, Air Race, StormForce 10, Wave, Thor, Haunting I would consider thrillUnless your family has anyone who wants thrills. Then you get Maelstrom and that's your lot.
