Fireworks 2025

I'm sure 2 day tickets weren't available for previous year's fireworks weekends but this year it seems they are. I found them purely by chance...I was booking 2 separate tickets for a friend for the Saturday and Sunday and clicked "back" in the popup ticket window after adding the Saturday, not "back" on the browser) and it took me to the ticket options page (which isn't displayed if you click the Book now option on the main Fireworks webpage):

Clicking 2 day ticket then allows you to select a Fireworks date:

So for Sat and Sun you can get a ticket for £61 instead of £88 (£49+£39).
This may have been possible in previous years but it's the first time I've seen it!

I’m pretty sure it’s always been there, but as you say, for some reason 2 day tickets are pretty hidden (that goes for non fireworks dates too).

I’m guessing with the lawns not being used for Scarefest at all this year, there hasn’t been a hurry to set anything up there.

I remember last year they had to put the initial structures up before Scarefest started as it wouldn’t have been possible with the stage and seats there.

I just think that it is a fire hazard with it being right at the centre of the park. There have been blazes before.
Personally I'd consider the several tonnes of dangerous explosives they're setting off a possible fire hazard, rather than a crowd of people strategically placed close to evacuation points by a team with multiple decades of experience and preparation in the event of such an occurrence, but each to their own.

The location that for 35 plus years they have been launching multiple shows per year from, without any major incident, would say otherwise. They themselves are professionals, as are the companies they hire. They know very well what they are doing.

Where should it be held then? In an empty car park by Galactica?

They close off the back of the park from Battle Galleons to the left of the lake and Spinball to the right so no-one is "behind" the display; therefore from a guest safety perspective you could argue that it isn't in the centre of the park because no-one is anywhere but in front of the display. In all the years I've been, any wind has always blown debris and smoke left to right or right to left over the lake or towards the Towers themselves. I've never known it blow across the crowd. And the blazes you refer to were due to still-lit firework debris falling into trees - which lets face it, can happen at any display regardless of location.

As others have said, they've been doing this for decades, with teams of professional safety, security and pyrotechnic people who know exactly what they are doing. The fact that in all the years of doing this, no-one to my knowledge has been injured and only a couple of minor fires have occurred speaks volumes about how Towers and Jubilee Fireworks (and everyone else involved) take their roles very seriously when it comes to the safety of these incredible displays.

I don't mean that it's a danger that people are really close, I mean that it's a danger that it's so close to the Towers and other rides. The blaze I mean was the one in 2019.

One moderate fire in about twenty years (or more) of doing displays though.
Its not really much different to any other park doing firework displays, there will always be some risks.
The Towers are made of stone, not much to catch fire. Unlike Disney who set them off from the roof of the buildings by the castle every night where there are significantly more risks but they have plans in place as they do it more often.

That was the small fire that damaged a tree next to the Games bunker opposite the toilets and was caused by a rogue still-lit firework landing in it

And in November, any timber that could ignite will be pretty damp or water logged anyway!

Fireworks set up begins today according to TPWW’s latest vlog. There’s not a lot of time especially with all the planned testing and programming needing to be done in the days before, but as others have said the lawns can be completely sectioned off meaning work can theoretically take place around the clock. Plus the park is closed in between SF and Fireworks.

Is anyone there today who can confirm?
