How would we know that this had come from Wicker Man?

The park didn’t sell bolts in the shop, so unless this person is a very business-minded former engineer from Alton Towers, I can’t see how they’d have access to a bolt from Wicker Man.

Exactly my thoughts. Might be an ex-employee as they have a staff name badge up for sale too (blank I think). Still not a good buy though with no provenance. At least with some of the stuff that people buy from AT you get the official invoice/receipt from Towers and usually a plaque or something on the mount or whatever, so you'd always be able to re-sell more easily if you ever wanted to.

Is it actually possible to run Millennium Flyers backwards? I know Timberliners can run backwards but not sure how that would work with Millennium Flyers.

Would be cool though.

from an engineering point of view, the coaster trains are trailered, sometimes it can be made where the chassis or seats of the car can be flipped (See swarm), neither look to be possible on wicker man so it would likely need a custom chassis

(doesn't appear as though you can flip the seats due to the foot well and restraints being in the way, can't flip the chassis as the chassis isn't set up to due to the wheel placement, and some of the features (such as a chamfer at the front of the chassis))

it is far easier to flip a non trailered, as you are using the same links and mechanics and the support for the vehicle is the same so often not much changes.

What is Trailered? I can't find any good diagrams, so a brief explanation is: think about the 0 car and 1st row (the wicker man head and front row) as a car you would find on the street, the next row (row 2) is attached on the end like a trailer (via a ball hitch), then the one behind it is also connected via a ball hitch, repeat till the end this means each car is partially supported by the car ahead (apart form the front car)(you can also flip it, so the rear car is the normal car, and each one in front is trailered). a lot of trains are like this, all of B&M's are trailered, and most modern trains are
 
We are stood in the queue for wickerman and they’ve just announced it’s closed and they are having to remove a train due to guest behaviour… What could they have done?!

Could it be a guest vomiting all over the train and them needing to clean it up or something?

Other than that, I’m at a bit of a loss. I can’t think of how a guest could behave in a way that would cause the park to need to remove a train…

Vomiting is unlikely, that's typically referred to as a guest illness rather than guest behaviour.

Some sort of vandalism requiring the train to be cleaned is possible. If a guest was attempting to force the restraint that could have damaged it which would mean it would need to be properly checked in the shed but I'm struggling to think how a guest could do that sort of damage, they're pretty hard to break.

Or it would likely cost more to prosecute and enforce it

Local shop owner by me has had a spate of thefts. Try pursuing the first one - £150 of stock stolen. Would have cost him £300 to pursue …. And likely get paid £1 per month for the rest of his life
