The "Look What I Made!" Topic.

I'm slowly getting the Northly Goat Fair put back together. I'm not sure what's taking more time: dusting it, or constantly stopping to film it? 🤣

Still got audio issues. I hate imovie with a passion. If I was doing this on a proper PC I could at least tell what the levels are like before uploading. (It all sounded fine on the iPad). But my PC is now so old it's essentially useless.

Anyway, hope you like it.

Great stuff, @DiogoJ42. Some good jokes in there too!

That's a fantastic collection of modular buildings you have - the older ones too. (And did I see the Old Fishing Store? Wow!) The tree-lined avenue works really well. Is it the Terminator and Marilyn Monroe on the Fun House?

I think we're very much on the same page with this stuff, and I'd love to have a Lego room myself. I'm a fan of Classic Pirates, so would ideally have a Caribbean or Polynesian seascape, with lots of islands etc.

Either that or a Castle room, with the Lion Knights' Castle, Medieval Town Square, lots of forest and whatever other castles they bring out on the same scale. Not that I actually have them, but that's my kind of thing.

Looking forward to the next one.

My fifth video. Something rather special has happened... One of the youtubers who inspired me to give this a go, all but told me to copy his idea in to my town. So I kinda had to! 🤣

For full credit, this was his original video (Go watch it!):

And my "franchise" build:

Normal service will resume shortly.

Nice one. I also see your views and subs are steadily rising on your channel. Good work 👍 👍 👍 :) :)

I also built the following with Home Assistant for Halloween. The LED channels also run WLED.

When it gets dark on 31st Oct the lights play the default Halloween effect which is the middle strip with the red candle effect and the two side strips have a random strobe. When the doorbell is pressed it goes into the purple and orange wipe effect and when the door is opened it does a mega white strobe for a few seconds and then goes back to the red candle white strobe effect but there is a small white segment by the door for sweet visibility. When the door is shut the white segment becomes part of the random strobe effect the rest of that strip is doing.

I also added in a smoke machine and speaker

On the night I had 68 kids visit and a few stand outside and refuse to come in as it was too scary

I've been busy again. I've cleaned out the cliff top park area, added back the orbiter, Stargate, and the beach, and discovered something sinister lurking underground...

Great stuff, it really captures the appeal of a model village - how it's a realistic world in miniature. Loved the beach scenes and the eagle flying round the lighthouse. Is that a Willow tree I see to the right of the Old Fishing Store?
