Fireworks 2025

The amount of infrastructure doesn't massively vary, outside of adding a gimmick (water screens or the actor scaff towers etc)

Usually 2 screens, several sets of truss and the usual lawns stuff.

Hats off to them erecting the infrastructure, installing the lighting, connecting the power and control in literally 3 days.

There’ll be a lot more tech to be installed on these rigs I’m sure but it looks like a good start.

Strangely didnt hear anything in the enchanted village...
I’m in oakamoor so in the valley, also very little trees once you get out of this valley from my location and head in a straight line to the lake, just fields over the hill. You’d have the gardens etc blocking out noise to your location.

The whole thing went on for 20 mins. Extremely loud even when inside, like someone was sitting outside your house in a car with music blaring. Outside you could clearly hear the music/voices/see all the lights etc

Apparently there is different audio in the monorail, a mate of mine is there today and said to take it when I'm there tomorrow. But he said there is no atmosphere on Towers Street like there was last year - but to be honest that was to be expected as last year was the exception to the rule!

There is some theming and atmosphere the froga are dressed up for fireworks

I think he was meaning the level of atmosphere and imersion is not like last year - remember last year we had superb Expo-specific non-Towers music playing all day around the area and the Phalanx troops keeping guard etc
Fireworks has also had up and down years some years are better than other the real test will be in the display

I completely agree - I have already seen a post by a Theme Park vlogger on Facebook where he mentions about his "concerns" for the theme this year even though he's not going because of the crowds and how bad the crowd control is at the end of the display. Someone commented about how sparse the setup looks this year and naturally he goes on about Merlin budget cuts affecting it. Thing is, from what I have seen in pictures and TPWW's video on Monday, from a rigging perspective, there looks to be no less than what was used in the 2021 40th Anniversary year! Of course proof of any cuts or not will probably be evident in the display itself, so time will tell.

Those are the people that annoy me the most moan about the park yet never visit. And to be honest it's really quiet this morning
