The concepts look nice, it is certainly going to give that area of the park a very different feel. Interesting that it sounds like they are going for another full restaurant there, seeing as it is practically opposite the park's existing main eatery. I do hope there is something to replace the former cafe/sports bar.

It does seem that this plaza will be open during the evening for hotel guests, which I guess could mean they could open the indoor section for hotel guests as well if they wanted.
I’m hoping it’s different to the one at Seaworld as that was one of the worse flying theatres I’ve done, the ride didn’t really move much, and if you moved your feet you could see the shadows of it on the screen.

Does anyone know the max wind speed for RTH to operate? Looking at around 30kmph on Friday when I'm considering a visit.
@Bowser I know you got on it despite a windy day, do you know what the wind speed was?
I never found an official speed tolerance.
The apps I used at the time were claiming wind gusts were 40-50kmph and it was open most of our visit bar a few temporary closures. It’s open right now according to the app when gusts are supposedly 45kmph.

Thanks I will crack on with my plans in that case.I never found an official speed tolerance.

Have found it a bit underwhelming on previous visits so hopefully it delivers this time.

Hope you have better luck than those who visited today
Visitors to Plopsaland Belgium are being sent home four hours earlier than planned today. The Flemish amusement park was originally scheduled to open until 6:00 PM. Due to Storm Benjamin, the gates will close early. Plopsa announced this on social media.
Due to the exceptional weather conditions and for the safety of our visitors and staff, Plopsaland Belgium and Plopsaland Ardennes will close their doors today at 2:00 PM. We thank you for your understanding.

Yeah didn't bother going in the end because the ferry price shot up quite significantly at the last minute. But seems like it's running as normal today.Hope you have better luck than those who visited today

I'm going to assume it's an error but Ride To Happiness is listed as closed indefinitely.
It didn't operate today and not sure when it was last open. I'm guessing it's closed for winter maintenance and they don't know the reopening so every date is coming up as closed. Shame as with Legoland not opening properly this year we were going to attempt a day trip over Xmas.

I understand the closed list will reflect what is closed today and it is assumed any closure is indefinite until the ride reopens.I'm going to assume it's an error but Ride To Happiness is listed as closed indefinitely.

The scheduled closures definitely show up in advance but the ones with unexpected closures are on there everyday.
That's from what I've noticed with Plopsaland.

It's not listed at being closed for any other upcoming dates, including this weekend. It's also being prominently advertised on the park's homepage. As the park was only open on Wednesday during this working week (yesterday), it's possible that it was closed as part of maintenance.I'm going to assume it's an error but Ride To Happiness is listed as closed indefinitely.

They must have updated it as it was definitely on there. I tried about 20 different dates in 2026 as well and it was on them all, otherwise i wouldn't have posted about it. @owenstreet7 suggestion above seems the most likely scenario. Hopefully a good sign that it's no longer listed!
There's a private event taking place from Friday for several weeks occupying much of the accommodation so perhaps this week was the last chance for maintenance before the Christmas season.

The Plopsaland Black Friday deal is on till Monday, the prices are quite ridiculous.
You can get a 6 month unlimited annual pass for £48 with any start date up to March 1st. There are various add ons to include the water park or other Plopsa parks that are similarly cheap. For anyone planning even just a single 2 day trip it's a no brainer.
I'd snap it up myself but as the Village includes entry anyway we're unlikely to use it.

I rode the log flume at Europa last weekendRemember riding Pirate Falls in the early days of Legoland Christmas events.
Deliberately did Pirana at Efteling last year on Boxing Day because I could.
I visited Plopsa a couple of years ago at Christmas and I don’t think they had any rides closed.

Yeah I found a video of someone doing Ride to Happiness on Christmas Day last year!
How is the park in terms of decorations and lights?
