I did see the Coaster Breaks couple had to place their vlogging equipment in a locker prior to entering Boulevard World on their recent trip.
To credit those involved, this discussion around vlogging is only really relevant specifically to Six Flags Qiddiya as the first major park in SA. There is a political reality that effects vlogging uniquely specific to this thread, rather than the general vlogging thread. That is unless you want to move that discussion to a dedicated “The political impact of vlogging in Saudi Arabia” thread, but that arguably limits discussion even further (perhaps fitting given the regime being discusssed)
Read my post again. It was aimed at general discussion around vlogging. It was posted in response to a post giving an opinion that all vlogging should be banned, which is not relevant to this topic. It was also to clearly ask that if people post content that they credit and provide summaries/descriptions and personal opinions:
It’s no different to other posts I’ve made prior to wide scale coverage for multiple other new rides and attractions on the forum. Previous specific park discussion such as that provided by Gooseontheloose referring to the park’s policies has remained.
Coaster Studios have attended tonight so they might be the best bet to keep an eye on their socials.
With the caveat that their content will be viewed and approved by the PIF / their media handler first. The review is unlikely to be constructive, or unbiased. It will not be allowed to be. It will be overwhelmingly positive, at least until they are safely out of the country.
You are applying the logic of a liberal democracy, where credibility is currency, to an absolute monarchy where control is currency. They do not care if it looks like censorship to a British enthusiast on a forum; their target audience is the domestic population they are placating and the international investors they are wooing, neither of whom require a balanced review of an Intamin rattle to buy into the vision.
