No country has experience in running a park to this scale other than the countries with Disney or Universal Parks. This park is totally incomparable to anything other than them due to its size and ground up start alone.the country has zero experience in running parks to this scale.

Saw one review mentioning they only needed to use their fast passes on Falcons Flight as the rest on the rides were pretty much walk on later in the night.I don't think slow operations is going to be a massive issue for this park going forwards.
Its been busy this week because all the hype and the western vloggers and thoosies have descended on the place to ride FF but how often will they make repeat visits? Once every few years for some and probably longer for others. Some may never ever go back now they got the cred.
Ultimately they need locals to buy into this place to make it successful and similar to Dubai.....I think they might struggle a bit.

Yeah pretty much, however I have to be honest, I really wasn't paying too much attention to the lines due to me having the fast pass.
Be interested in the total costs in a bit more detail if it’s suitable to discuss. I have no concept of how expensive KSA is as a place for food and hotels - assuming the £30 for an Uber must be about an hour’s journey which seems comparable to what would cost over here?"Could you do a full report when you have time? Where you stayed, transport, queue times etc?"
I'll try and get round to writing one when I have a chance, I stayed in a Hilton hotel in Riyadh centre which from what I could briefly seen seemed to be a lovely clean and busy city that reminded me somewhat of Dubai, the park was about 45 minutes away and I opted to just rely on Uber taxi's to get back and forth to the park which were about £30 each way (I factored this into the cost).
The queue times in the park weren't too bad but I purchased a fast pass for both days to make the most of the trip and never waited longer than 10 minutes for any ride. However it seemed if you were in the regular lines the wait times especially for Falcons Flight were getting upwards of 2 hours and this seemed largely to be because there were a lot of people using fast pass which the operations were giving absolute priority to, this is something I'd expect to change over the coming weeks as the staff become more experienced and aware.
There was also perhaps an increased amount of people in the park due to it just opening, I'd expect things to mellow out in the coming weeks, especially as the weather gets hotter. I fully expect that there will be a point in the coming months where the park is very similar to those in Dubai where everything is more or less a walk on.

The actual travel costs were pretty cheap, I paid only £530 for flights from Newcastle (via Amsterdam) and my hotel for 3 nights. The total cost of tickets and fast passes came to round £220 and then taxi and travel costs in and around Riyadh and getting back and forth to the park were another £200 or so.
Only other thing was food which can be as expensive or cheap as you want it to be really, all in all I spent roughly a grand on this entire trip which I think when you consider the location and occasion, isn't that bad at all.

A good friend of mine is out there right now and I had no idea this was his sort of thing. I used to work with him for my current company but he fairly recently took a transfer to our Dubai office. We never really discussed theme parks together for whatever reason but after commenting on one of his FF photos he posted, he's just replied and said 'Just get it booked. You're not got going to live it down if you don't come and do it' and he's probably right.
Damn this is so horrible. I know I'm going to give in eventually and just go do it. Sad really but as this is one of my biggest hobbies and passions I just know it will eat away at me if I don't go and experience FF.
I'm weak and pathetic I know however the big kid inside me is very loud and convincing. Haha!

Were Ubers readily available at the park? We're looking at getting a 1am flight home so we'd have a second day in the park and go straight to the airport about 10pm if that's a viable plan...

I didn't have any problems personally but you have to remember you're out in the middle of nowhere so you're always taking a risk.
If I were leaving at 10pm on the basis of having to catch a flight I'd be giving myself plenty of breathing room and starting to look at uber availability or scheduling an uber at around 9pm to get you at 10pm just to play it safe.
If you're having any problems just go to the help desk, all the staff speak perfect English (in fact many of them WERE English) and they'll point you in the right direction.

I read that it's better to get the free shuttle bus to the city and get an Uber from there, as they are more plentiful. Were Ubers readily available at the park? I think I will wait for the waterpark and more importantly the onsite budget hotel to open before I even think of booking a trip. I don't want to be faffing around with expensive ubers or getting 3 metro trains plus a shuttle bus each day.
Airport > Uber to resort > 2/3 days onsite > Uber to Airport.
It's says the Waterpark and Hotels are due in Q1 of 2026 so they can't be too far away.

I'll definitely wait until Oct/Nov until I go back and would stay onsite next time, there's not much of a reason to go to Riyadh as it's more of a business city than a tourist destination.
However if you really wanted to experience FF then it's not that difficult a place to get to, public transport is very efficient and quite cheap. I found it much more "difficult" (relatively speaking) getting to parks like Cedar Point where I had to rent a car.
I've had a few people asking if FF has much airtime which I'm happy to confirm it does have multiple nice pops of floater airtime which is much more so than most hyper/gigas however perhaps not quite as much as you'd want considering the overall size of the ride.
There are a couple of moments in the first section of the ride that had me floating out of my seat, you also get some great floater down the cliff drop and after it crests the camelback you float most of the way down that huge drop, there's also a couple of momentary floater airtime moments in the 3rd part of the ride.
Don't get me wrong, it's not the airtime machine that say Steel Vengeance is but it also has way more airtime than something like Millennium Force.
I think the real shame is that they trimmed the camelback (which you do feel), it would of been amazing to of had an insane ejector airtime moment at 500ft, but it's hard to criticize it too much.
Despite the comments from people saying "it looks boring" they're only saying that because they haven't ridden it, trust me it's absolutely one of the best coasters on the planet and would make almost everybody's top 10.

Does Iron Rattler, Colossus and Spitfire have a shot at being in your top 10Just arrived back from Riyadh this morning after 2 days at SFQC, incredible park, incredible hospitality and for all the doubters and negativity surrounding FF I'm happy to confirm this is an amazing coaster and easily slots into my top 3.

Coaster Studios have uploaded their rider-facing POV of Falcon's Flight, and their expressions are just magical!

It is interesting to note the use of a wrist mount though, as I've seen that chest mounts are not permitted.

TPWW and others filmed with Meta Glasses, as glasses are allowed with a secure strap. They all seem to be happily filming the public as well, which isn't usually permitted.I presume they must have been given special permission to film these POV's then? Seen a number of them with the arms stretched out infront.
I cant imagine theyd risk it otherwise, especially not Saudi of all places.

There's another wrist held view here, it's almost side on so you get a great sense of the speed and scenery. One of them mentioned they did have permission to film.
Seems fairly unanimous so far it's one of the best coasters in the world.

This link will take you to Youtube to search for available POVs for Falcon’s Flight.
I’d encourage those of you who are interested in viewing a large selection of people’s reactions to head over and watch on there. If you’d like to refer to a specific part of them that you find interesting that you’ve not seen in videos that have already been posted, then link it within a post that includes your own opinion and substantially adds to discussion. We do not need endless posts embedding POVs into this topic, and this is not the place for discussion about how they were filmed. The people who have posted POVs are predominately content creators who were invited by the park, so the assumption is that they were permitted to do so. It’s clear what the park’s usual filming policy is, as the terms were posted and discussed at length earlier.
If you’d like to query further on how they were filmed, use the content creator’s own comment channels on Youtube etc.
