2026: General Discussion

Looks amazing, I'm sure it will really compliment the scaffolding in the area. I can't wait to see this new theming up close next month.

Nets and scaffolding, its all the rage these days!!

I know there is an element of sarcasm in your post but I feel compelled to point out that the netting is not theming. It is designed to stop loose articles that fall from the ride, hitting people on the ground.

It does indeed;

They used to be custom wooden ones but now just bog standard metal ones.

I'm hopeful this is up there on the same excitement levels as new netting, paving and hotel doors.

Google maps have updated their satellite imagery and it clearly shows construction of the bluey coaster and new solar panels on the old dungeons building. The street view car has also driven around all of the cars parks and hotels during 2025, including the service area at the back of the hotels where there are some new fencing posts being stored.

Interesting! Shows that the Dungeons ride building won't be going anywhere, surely they just can't leave this as a Scaremaze too much longer? Such a waste!

Mm but he still has a very valid point - regardless of when planning permission was granted, they wouldn’t be installing now if there were any plans involving modifications to the building in the near future.
Although if they knew of plans for the building they wouldn’t have even got permission, I know at the time it had the Dungeons open, but I don’t see them ever significantly demolishing a building, rather just expanding or similar as they did when adding the lifts.
