Didn't they say they were going to stop this situation from happening? Didn't they say that if there were day tickets still available then pass-holders wouldn't be turned away?

I'm able to book today from the pass holder prebook hub but tomorrow is greyed out
I remember they said this not long after restrictions were lifted after Covid. Up until today, I've not heard of anyone not able to prebook like this. But then again, I'm not actively looking for posts on socials from people who can't!
I had a glitch yesterday on the passholder hub whilst booking for today where it said there were no spaces, but it gave me a slot after a tried a second time. It might just be a glitch, try again maybe.

Same here (Gold MAP). Tickets are definitely available to buy too, that’s very poor.

Have you both tried doing it twice as this has at least in two occasions successfully solved the issue as documented above.

Yep, still doesn't work for me. Though it will let me book tickets for today despite the park closing an hour ago so that's nice.

I might be completely wrong, but I wonder if Alton Towers decided to open Wicker Man in February due to Theme Park Worldwide’s video from earlier this week, in which he suggested opening Wicker Men for the Pirate Takeover event (see link below at the 33:56 mark) – or whether it was simply a case of great minds thinking alike!
I suppose that we will find out the answer next year, as Digital Dan suggested later in the week that the pre-show should be changed to a pirate theme, and if this happens in 2027 then I would use this as evidence that AT do in fact take inspiration from the vloggers!
I've never been to Burial Grounds, and so I am unsure whether there is enough space there (possibly not).
I remember hearing that there is still some old space around Wicker Man leftover from the old log flume...
Alternatively, could they move Heave-Ho elsewhere, and put the new pirate ship there instead?

If a multi-national corporation has started taking strategic business advice from vloggers, we're definitely doomed.
The suggestion to open Wicker Man has been floating around this forum for weeks. It's a well documented phenomenon that content creators scour these pages for "research" and then present the community consensus as their own unique insight.
The park opened the ride because the booking numbers demanded capacity, not because an influencer demanded it. Independent thought does occasionally happen, even at Alton Towers.
