These are some seriously unfunny people. The type to repeat a Frankie Boyle joke ad nauseum to you.So it seems that TWD has had a name change, according to Google maps. It is now apparently called 'The Walking Sigma: The Ride'. Obviously someone's done this as a joke, but really?!

I don't think many of them were born when Frankie Boyle was last remotely relevant, 17 years ago. Now don't we all feel old?The type to repeat a Frankie Boyle joke ad nauseum to you.
Absolutely.I don't think many of them were born when Frankie Boyle was last remotely relevant, 17 years ago. Now don't we all feel old?

Will all the rides be open? Will it be quiet? Will there be RAP?
No, no, dunno.

To clarify, this is the PR preview day, not the MAP preview day (i think they are consecutive).

In true closed season fashion I have been watching the videos and keeping up to date with all the testing visible from monks walk. As far as I can tell the only major coasters that haven't tested have been Nemesis and Stealth. Now, Nemesis has had visible work taking place so a delay to testing is understandable but should we be concerned that Stealth may not be ready for opening this year?
As far as I can tell no one has seen it cycle yet and it's a ride that is fairly easy to capture testing should it have happened. It would be a shame to miss the early few weeks of stealth when rollbacks are most likely (although I gather this is something the park are actively trying to avoid now).

That is interesting, especially as the rapids seems to be closing as well... Also, I think I'm right in saying Stealth wasn't featured on a new banner the park produced last year (at the entrance, I think?)

Stealth and Inferno have both been seen testing the last couple days

It appears Thorpe Park are no longer offering a pass with parking included. The only way to get free parking is with the £239 Merlin pass.
Was ideal for me as I would go a few times a month after work and not have to pay £15 every time for a few hours parking.
Wont be renewing as I have no need for the full Merlin pass. Was fun marathoning Hyperia for the last couple of years.

Same for the other Merlin parks. The park specific passes don’t include parking anymore.

When you purchased a pass in October "Standard Car Parking" was still listed as a core benefit, that is a contractual term.Renewed my Alton gold pass in around October last year so I think I got away with it by not having to renew this year. Didn't notice anything about no parking when I renewed so I'm pretty sure I'm ok for now...
Removing a tangible, quantifiable financial benefit, whilst the facility remains open, would constitute a significant change to the core terms to your detriment. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, they can't unilaterally strip out a primary benefit from a fixed term contract without offering you the right to exit that contract with a pro rata refund.
