He needs to be careful if he's positing things as facts saying; 'Alton towers Oblivion "tunnel has collapsed" as if it has happened and disguising it as a quote from here. It's one thing for us lot to sit on here and make suggestions or repeat rumours from X. But for someone with 150,000 subscribers - it's reckless to promote a wild rumour like that, especially to a younger and more gulliable demographic that will repeat it. It positions him as someone with perceived authority in the community, and if some idiot journo decides to publish an article repeating him for more clicks, imagine the issue towers would have with that.

I pointed out only yesterday (in a comment which was sadly removed, as the post it was in reply to was yeeted), that the vloggers in question has a habit of using these very pages for "research".
We really ought to be charging a consultancy fee.

As some have mentioned, so called theme park media has become more negative to the point of agenda ever since Universal started construction and given Towers' recent plight from Oblivion and their reliability issues, you really can't help but feel that these people have an axe to grind and it's no longer from a place of love.
Yes, the algorithm wanting negative stories literally pays for these influencers to become so cantankerous that they all seem to become so vindictive as if the owner of these parks slapped their mothers across the face. The sooner Oblivion reopens the better not just for capacity but to shut down all these crazy tunnel collapse stories as it is quickly getting out of hand though sadly I fear the horse has already bolted from the stables and now has left the farm and heading to the city.
Can you understand why I'm starting to really hate this community now as this is making me all generally angry as I write this. Why do I bother with these people?

Maybe, but when grown adults start to jump the bandwagon it starts to become a problem...you'd think they'd know better too.
Honestly, currently my personal life is quite hectic atm and sadly haven't the time for get smug about it. But anyway, back on topic with Oblivion.

Tbf to him, I don't believe DD is one of those people. He generally seems to be a much more laid back, glass half full, kinda guy. But the thumbnail was a bad call.
The rest of them on the other hand.... seem pretty performative in their negativity.
