Disneyland Paris: General Discussion

Opening day visits for new rides and lands are a complete lottery. They can go great but more often than not they go pretty badly which is why i will never visit on one of these days.

The actual land looks great though from the pics I have seen and it really makes a difference to that park now there's more space and the lake added. I just wish they'd have gone for Avatar or Star Wars from a selfish point of view as I have absolutely zero interest in Frozen.

Land looks good from videos - looking forward to seeing it later in the year in person.

One thing that keeps getting highlighted is the rather strange operational decision to completely close the bridge to the right of Frozen in the evening for the nightshow barges to come through, but then not reopen it. Makes Frozen a complete dead end for the last few hours of the day, and can't imagine it's ideal for crowd flow. Odd that it can't be like Epcot, where the barges come through, then the path immediately reopens.

For me....the land itself looks 100 times more impressive than the actual boat ride. I think I'd enjoy walking around the area more than the main attraction which is a bit of a weird one. I can definitely see why lots of people are saying that these Frozen boat rides aren't quite E ticket standard because they definitely aren't on a par with other modern Disney dark rides.

I think they should have pushed the boat out though (pun intended) and added a Frozen themed coaster as the land, although looks stunning, certainly lacks things to do. A smaller scale Expedition Everest only themed to Frozen would have been really really good. An opportunity missed.
