[2028] New Rollercoaster (Euro-Mir replacement)

It will be interesting to see if the existing towers are kept or if they are demolished and rebuilt. The post seems to hint that they will be rebuilt

It would make sense in terms of removing the existing ride system. From what I understand the existing buildings are not ideal from a fire regulations perspective and have had some structural issues in the past so probably makes sense to get rid of them and start again. Then again they kept the existing globe for Can Can and managed to work around that during the refurb.

Mir is an icon and unique, I love it for that. But it rides janky and I feel like it's had its time.

At any other park I'd be arguing it should stay and get a proper refurb. But as this is Mack and Europa I could absolutely see its replacement being the first of a new generation of family spinning rides! The extreme spinners have a far nicer train design. They could even keep elements of the controlled spin and make this ride their answer to Cosmic Rewind.
Europa knows the parts of the ride that the fans love. The music will return. The towers and probably the large sweeping drop will be incorporated as well.

The future of Mir looks bright, bring on the wrecking ball!

Tim, you've grossly let me down.

Oh yeah! Euro-Mir reimagined as a Mack Xtreme Spinning Coaster with a space theme and a pumping Euro -techno soundtrack. That’d be awesome.
That would be absolutely awesome although I understand the park have made it clear it will be a family coaster

Whether it goes into pure family or family thrill is a different matter, I'd like to think it'll be awesome either way.

I’m going to be highly controversial and say that in 2022, I thought Mir was Europa’s weakest operating coaster (Ba-a-a aside, as I didn’t ride it)!

I found it pretty rough, and I also didn’t think the layout was anything overly special either.

Bring on the new family coaster, as far as I’m concerned!

I can begrudgingly accept it's a love it or hate it ride but for a long as the bobsled exists I can't accept how Mir can be the roughest, least comfortable in the park
I've wondered if a Gerstlauer Bobsled style with Mack Big Dipper trains could be fantastic

It probably is off topic for Newro Mir but it'd be an awesome family-thrill experience

Mack Media have trademarked this logo for "Space ACE" which includes an image of the mir module. Whether just some homage or expanded media usage or for the new attraction/space area is not yet certain. The Adventure Club of Europe does have some space lore already in the Voletarium queue so it likely will be linked up somehow.
