Even Talocan makes some interesting noises at times, covered partly by the music. I very much doubt it's all neglect.

I certainly hope it's permanent, as the fountains were a stupid idea in the first place.

Are we sure?

Fountains don’t cost that much to run. Either they have decided that they wanted something to cover them when not in use (assume before May post September), or there is a technical reason for it.

If they where going to cut costs for a ride feature it would be the fire on Wickerman.

I mean it's not cost cutting per-se. No one will have looked at the fountains and decided "well we'll save X amount if we keep them off".

It's still poor though.

Curious to understand why you have concluded this is something Merlin have instigated?

Feels far more likely to be a local management issue/decision than something at group level.

Does anybody know why the splashdown was removed on Hyperia, and whether the water effects on Toxicator may have been removed for the same reason(s)? (e.g. rust, cost, etc)

It's very much still there, not working and can be discussed on its own thread.
