^ They were in SRQ. Groups using the SRQ and then asking to be sat together is probably the strongest argument for NOT having an SRQ, it's just extra stress for the batcher to deal with.

As for Gruffalo, I am not familiar with the specific rules but I would not be comfortable sending a boat round without an adult on board, it just feels like asking for trouble.

Sorry, I did not spot that - if it's not abbreviated to SRQ seems I don't see it 🤣 Have seen similar on Hyperia but the pair eventually gave up and walked off.
I was once accused of being an unfit mother at Chessington (still haven't had that t shirt made) but at least I've never done that!!

Wow, I'm surprised you didn't lump them! Them's fightin' words! (Unless, of course, you were my egg doner, in which case it would be true). I take it that you, being a sane person, just laughed in their face? ;)
