Chessington World of Adventures Resort

A few comments regarding the “sale” by Simon Burge, strategic development director at Chessington World of Adventures

Listing Hocus Pocus Hall for sale was a difficult decision.
However we’re sure it’ll become the perfect home to a new owner, who is looking for a property with quirky charm.

Avid Theme Park enthusiasts needn’t worry about what will replace Hocus Pocus Hall, as all will be revealed soon...

Listed with Chessington estate agent, Compass, final offers on Hocus Pocus Hall will be taken up to October 17, 2018.

The seller has asked to reside in the property until October 31, 2018, with the aim to complete the sale by spring 2019.

Isn't Compass a catering company? Maybe it's a new haunted food outlet? With ghost food

Thoughts on new attractions, such as if you want to see a new family coaster, new thrill coadter etc. You might be able to find it on the website.
Brill! Thanks @skyscraper; I'll take a look for myself!
EDIT: Can't find it on the website.

On another note, it's only 2 days until we discover the new occupant of Hocus Pocus Hall!

Question is whether they can actually build a Thrill coaster due to strict planning regs? Can they build on the map car park or near the back where the glamping is?

If it'll be another rehash, Id rather see the return of Terror Tomb , Bubbleworks or a full refurb on Rameses revenge with fire effects Talocan style

They can build, the planning isn't as strict as made out. There are places where they can't build (the grass hill by the South Entrance, car parks etc). IIRC their biggest barrier planning wise is noise, not what would be built, they have similar restrictions to Alton, i.e. Not above the trees, hence why the mine train thing is build in a big hole in the ground.

Besides, if Merlin ever decided to close and flog that land (they do own the freehold), you can guarantee the land would be reclassified in an instant so SCC could build 500 houses on it to fulfil their "Master Plan" requirements, it's exactly what they've done round here and in the next town down.
