IP's that have never been used before

Hi all,

I’ve recently been thinking about IP’s in the world of film/TV that have never been used (to my knowledge) in Theme Parks before and thought it would be interesting to get your thoughts on ones that could work.

The main one that strikes me is Game of Thrones. I’m sure there are good reasons as to why this IP has never appeared before but the sheer scale of this show would be enough to warrant a whole Theme Park themed to all of the individual kingdoms in Westeros. The scope for theming/dark rides/shows would be huge.

In terms of individual rides, I’d theme up a Mack launch coaster with the main launch being towards the end of the ride and it would involve launching through the Game of Thrones wall as hordes of animatronic Whitewalkers give chase.

Appreciate that not everyone may have seen Game of Thrones so I’d be keen to hear what other IP’s people would think would work.

I feel like we could rank the IPs that have not yet been used once we have a list of them! ;)

Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit is a massive IP that has always been linked to Universal but never been used. I suspect there has been at least one area themed around Middle Earth planned at a Universal park.

Personally, I'd love to see a War of the Worlds dark ride with Jeff Wayne's music and Richard Burton's narration. Would be so atmospheric .
My Wardley, that would be EPIC! :D
.... But I'd want it to last for the full album duration.

How about something along the lines of "Knights In White Satin: The Trip" based on Pink Floyd?

Or sticking with a music theme, Queen?

WOTW is a fantastic composition, and I would love the ride to last for the whole album too,

But, In the Wobble World Building.

RivhardvBurton " No one would have believed" ride ends

WOTW is a fantastic composition and the full album would be great, but in the Wobble World Building...

Richard Burton "No one would have believed..." - Ride ends

Surprised that Big Hero 6 and Zootropolis haven't been made into rides yet. Fantastic films they are!
