Not sure you can compare considering every long queue at Paultons is clearly labelled as being a virtual queue.
I wasn't comparing the queue times, I was comparing how unrealistic the queue times are. I don't seriously think that rides at Paultons would have a 3 hour wait (real or virtual)

They're not unrealistic at towers tho. The queues will easily be 30-120 mins for things at the moment

Whilst this thread is for General Discussion I think it would be prudent to try and lessen the frequency with which random queue times are posted, if only to preserve some kind of intelligent discussion in here! If people are interested in seeing the queue times then they can go to the app and see for themselves. Otherwise please try to only post interesting goings on ;)

Well when I go to towers on wednesday, it'll be usual routine in terms of rides. First smiler and oblivion, then rita, then forbidden valley and then wicker man

There's a rumor that vapes cannot set off fire alarms, obviously false.
They can set off the really sensitive ones, which most public buildings have these days (most hotels tell you to keep the bathroom door closed when using it as steam from the shower can set off the alarm). The person that told me said that their friend was on the room when it happened, so I'm pretty sure it's true. ;)

Depending on type of alarm, I've set one off whilst dusting before. They are really sensitive. Ideally Towers would use aspirating VESDA style tubes, but they aren't practical and would stick out, being unpaintable and bright red.

Reports from people on park of people working in the Thirteen station, social distancing markings in place, and the park now saying they are working to have it available soon. Wonder how they’re going to make it work?

In the great scheme of things, if they enforced mask wearing (i.e. if you can't wear a mask you can't currently ride) and opened it as normal they'd be meeting government guidelines right now.

It'd be a similar situation as to why they are enforcing masks on public transport because social distancing is next to impossible.

How are the rides running this year? I've heard people say some rides feel a lot more intense. Maybe that's due to the amount of time everyone hasn't been on rides.

I think the distancing is definitely going to play a part in how rides feel partly because the weight isn't as much or where it normally is.
