Drayton Manor Park

Like the Santa experience last year was £10 and that didn’t even include a photo like previous years.
The £10 was a good price for the kids as for that they got entertained, got to meet the big man himself, pick there own present and make there own hot chocolate but parents felt ripped off as it was the same price for then and in return they got to make there own hot chocolate.
Now if the train experience was as good as it was in 2023 then I would pay for that but not last year’s rubbish Thomas land version.
The pantomime could be good and I reckon that will be inside the falls theatre.
Now I’m not sure what the Elftoria is and where it will be located but it better be very good for the park to be charging £20 each.
Then on top of all that you still got to pay for parking and entry to get into the park just for Thomas land rides and select rides around the park.

Elftoria is in Vikings - will have actors, a maze, inflatable (?) slide and the 4 rides - but will be upcharge even for passholders

New flat ride or relocated ride?
In the long term yes but to install what they want for Elftoria
A magical new land located in our Vikings area, this immersive experience includes:
  • Christmas Tree Maze
  • Snowball Fight Arena
  • Live Pranking Workshop & Show
  • Elf Meet & Greet
  • Elftoria Slide
  • Festive Crafts & Activities

That will have to go in that unused area of Vikings

I just realised that Looping Group have bought the company that operates Waterworld in Stoke on Trent. They kept that quiet.

I can see this being incorporated into a season pass soon.

Like with Drayton Manor, I can see the company structure changing. Which will not make Looping Group liable to pay any fines should they arise from the recent death of that poor girl. I am not at all suggesting the sale is because of this, sales as large as this are in the talks for months if not years before, this would be no exception. But I cannot see Looping being liable to pay any fine, exactly as was the case when they took over Drayton Manor.

Being discussed in the Looping thread https://towersstreet.com/talk/threads/looping-group-general-discussion.6219/post-520419

But I do see this might mean they start considering a Merlin style annual pass now with four attractions in the UK. Definitly scope at least for a midlands combo ticket deal with DM, WMSP and Waterworld.
