At least its replacing a ride with something rather than leaving it to rot

This. The cinema was always a retrofit anyway if I recall (a la Towers Ice Age) so would be good to have a dedicated new space for it.
The facade is something to be desired on the plans.

Is it? Or, as I suspect you might have meant, does it actually leave something (a lot) to be desired?
Got our one shot fast passes at Legoland at the weekend (the ones you get for being premium passholder now) and tried to use them on Ninjago, but of course, there was no member of staff at the merge point and no-one would let us in. Ended up going through the door that wheelchair users use and explaining to the member of staff what was going on, they let us straight on but we have had this issue in the past with this when using RAP because it is so awkward trying to merge your way into the queue without a staff member there.
Getting the one shots is a bit of a faf mainly for the member of staff as they have to type in all of the details of each annual pass into a spreadsheet, and then they have to write the pass numbers onto the one shot passes before giving them to you. All takes a bit if time, but I suppose the time saved queuing for the ride is greater.

Can confirm. We couldn't resist so we were their with our dogs.
Will upload pictures when I can.
Had a chat with one of the ride hosts. Apparently their weren't too many people with dogs the first few weekends but it picked up today.
Makes sense to me as it wasn't initially well advertised. I've been suggesting they do it for years but I didn't even find out they were actually doing it until after the first weekend. And of course this week they talked about it on the Christmas at Legoland TV show.
