I know! The Gerstlaurer Infinity would look amazing if it happened!!It would be fantastic if he does, waiting for Mellors to do that for Fantasy Island which is more likely as of right now
If both could do it, it'd be superb!

The wood coaster plans look very intriguing... is that a backwards section?

Why does that look more like a water slide

Thanks. I couldn’t upload the photos. Is ZDT’s Switchback still looking for an owner?

Southport sure could use some good news what with the results of the horrendous terror attack inquiry coming out this week.
Be great to see these plans come to fruition but I will believe it when I see the diggers and cranes arrive. Until then you have to take what the owner says with a huge pinch of salt.
Be nice to have another place to visit again given its only 30 mins from where I live. The Cyclone was a huge part of my childhood.

Not sold from what I've heard. This is a completely different layout however. Suppose you could buy the useful parts of Switchback and bring them to the UK to build a new coaster.Thanks. I couldn’t upload the photos. Is ZDT’s Switchback still looking for an owner?
Doubt one at Southport would have the madness of going through a half removed building.
I was there the other day an there were some diggers behind the Extreme Remix. Digging some stuff out.
They certainly have space for both. For Adventure Coast a Rollercoaster is exactly what they need something headlining and easily marketable. An Infinity and Woodie would do just that.
Hoping they also get Rocket back open this season

Wallis certianly seems to have the passion, but he clearly has struggled with the cash to actually carry out what he wants to do. And as a typical showman he hypes his plans up a lot, and while there is nothing wrong with that in principle he does need to be careful not to overhype people for things he might not be able to deliver. Personally I really hope he does manage to get a new headlining attraction in, anything eye catching from the road, and easy to market should at least have some return.

Feels like the boy who cried coaster again.
If Mellors do have and decent coasters in m almost certain the will end up at LWV which is desperate for new rides.Should really see if he could get some of those bigger portable coasters the Mellors Group have like the old Looping star and have that on site for a season. Parks comfortably far away enough from Fantasy Island and Lightwater Valley to not be a competitor.
He has already been there, and done that, repeatedly....he does need to be careful not to overhype people for things he might not be able to deliver. ...
I for one will not be holding my breath, though of course a new decent coaster would be lovely.
I just don't see where the money is coming from, simple as that.

The wooden coaster plan is at least better than the Euro Fighter/Zamperla Thunderbolt plan, in my opinion. I think a lot more people would want to ride it. You never know, perhaps these plans are put out to test the enthusiasm for each one. Personally, I really hope this one gets built, although I'd prefer a full circuit to a switchback.
