2017/18: SW8 Speculation
I also think that looks very underwhelming. Also what's with the double lift/launch type thing? Hopefully this isn't representative of the final product in any way, as it's a long way off still as it is. That or the final product has plenty of elements that surround the ride to make it more...- LiamC

Extra Safety Procedure on rides!
Another one here on the removing of glasses on Th13teen a few weeks ago. I found it very strange. I don't mind having extra procedures on rides where they need to be, in light of what has happened. However this just felt a little overkill.- LiamC

Thorpe Park 2017: DBGT: Rise of The Demon
Why oh why do Merlin continue to do stuff like this? It's a multi-million pound theme park ride they're putting up, not a shed. They must have know at least several weeks before now that it wasn't going to be ready on time, not a week before it opens. I'm not surprised, but it really is a...- LiamC

Self catering
http://www.chainedoak.com/ This is nice and you can walk from there to the park entrance. It's b&b so near as to self catering.- LiamC

Hex - If and when will it return
I was under the impression it would open later in the season/beginning of next season. I think it needs extensive maintenance, and obviously with the cut backs they have decided to do this now to save on costs.- LiamC

American Adventure Park
As nice as it would be, it won't happen I'm afraid. How many of those people are going to go regularly to keep it open and running? 5,500 is a drop in the ocean I'm afraid. Do any rides still remain on the site too? Even if it did reopen it would only be AA in name unfortunately :(- LiamC

I find it a bit interesting that PL haven't released any stats relating to this ride prior to it's opening. Normally parks do release some stats/speeds etc. beforehand.- LiamC

I should have said also; I have very poor eyesight without my glasses on (not sure of the actual measuring off hand) but I am extremely short sighted, and I actually found it fine using the focus wheel on the top. The picture was crisp and clear when I had adjusted it.- LiamC

I can't imagine so, no. There isn't much room in there to start with anyway once they are on. I also found the headsets to be painful and putting a lot of pressure on my ears and the sides of my head, so I imagine this would be a lot worse with glasses on also.- LiamC
