The Alton Towers Dungeon
My prediction: It'll be a really short dungeon, using the Sub Terra buildings you'll go through the plot of doing something illegal, e.g. smuggling. You'll then be taken through a court room scene and finally "hung" in the drop ride section of the ride. I don't think it'll be an up-charge...- Jables

2017: General Discussion
Disappointing but not surprising at all, with the park in decline. Was 2018 the best time to release a wooden coaster? The public's stigma about them is fairly bad.- Jables

Research for my Uni dissertation
Hi, just filling it out now. It seems that on the "When you see Alton Towers what do you associate with the brand? (Tick any that apply)" question, you can only tick one answer instead of multiple however.- Jables

Scarefest 2016
Brilliant, people complaining at how scary a horror maze is. I personally find Sub Species the best maze Alton Towers have ever created. Though yes, it is very scary. It's still a lot of fun. Isn't that the point?- Jables

Scarefest 2016
I just don't believe Scarefest takes this long to set up, shame I couldn't have had another nose around before The Towers closed. And I was going to go on Tuesday. Oh well, I've no doubt that this years Scarefest will be on par with last year if not better.- Jables

2018: Wicker Man - Pre-Opening Discussion
"With respect to the buildings, the accompanying drawings (prepared by Smytheman Architects) show the maximum size and bulk of the buildings and materials proposed. In summary, the upper section of the buildings will be made of horizontal dark timber boarding with aged and weathered effect, and...- Jables

2018: Wicker Man - Pre-Opening Discussion
"The rollercoaster structure, sound tunnels and screens will be made of dark stained timber elements, predominantly made of southern yellow pine. The associated rails will be made of a combination of timber and steel." Here's a quote from the Design and Access Statement.- Jables

Planet Coaster: new Frontier game
The game is being released in separate versions so that the community can express their opinions on the game so the developers can add or remove features the players would like. Though the alpha versions of the game are for more hardcore fans. It is definitely a good thing for the finished...- Jables

Planet Coaster: new Frontier game
I've got the Alpha version of this, whilst some features are slightly frustrating, (such as paths) the game is far more advanced and more enjoyable the RCTW. I'm sure when this game is released it will be the best sim on the market.- Jables

Deadpool
Just seen Deadpool in the cinema, have to say I'm not overly impressed. It's a shame because I really wanted to enjoy this movie, however it was very predictable and just didn't grip me like some of the other Marvel titles like The Avengers or X Men, that being said it had it's funny moments...- Jables
