A little bit late but having just stayed at the chained oak I can't recommend it enough. You are really well looked after yet still left to your own devices. The best part was how quiet and peaceful it was. Made for a nice contrast compared to how manic the hotels can be.

I wonder if the Woodland Walk will still be open from 8.30am as that allowed you to enter the park from FV and then work your way to the front of the park for just before 10am.

Given the number of mums/grans (and dads/grandads) that seem to spend their time in the waterpark "minding chairs" this is a really good idea to make the waterpark a more inclusive affair. Only downside is I that following a massage I can't think of a less relaxing place to go than the waterpark.
