Nemesis Reborn: General Discussion
It’s just opened, teething issues are to be expected. I remember riding Wicker Man with half the rows cordoned off. These things take time.- Connor98

[2024] Nemesis Reborn: Construction and Speculation
I think they raised the bar with Wicker Man, this is really the first big money project since that. I’m glad to see it looks like they are sticking to the same level if not better. Edit- there is a lot to like about Curse too.- Connor98

Thorpe Park: General Discussion
Whilst I agree with that sentiment in some ways, I don’t really think it applies to this situation. There has been a pretty obvious change across the majority of the UK merlin parks over this closed season, a noticeable shift compared to previous years I’d say.- Connor98

Theme park soundtracks that get stuck in your head
There are two albums on Spotify/YouTube that energylandia released in 2017 & 2018. Maybe some of the tracks you are looking for are in there but they are mostly tracks played on pathways and not in ride areas. Some of them are very cheesy I must say. From...- Connor98

Thorpe Park: General Discussion
Thorpe park have some new angles of the first drop shared by Theme Park Worldwide. It looks incredible! This really could be one of the best drops in the world, the profile is fantastic. From: https://www.instagram.com/p/C3_IZUIMVYV/?igsh=ZWM3NWRueG9rams=- Connor98

Rides that required a second ride or series of rerides for you to fully appreciate them
Took me some time to appreciate what Wicker Man was for the park. I’ve always wanted the park to get a woodie and a large scale one at that, but we got Wicker Man. I now understand its place in the park and how import an investment it was. It’s barrels of fun for all.- Connor98

[2024] Nemesis Reborn: Construction and Speculation
I guess it depends on if they will use the original sections of the queue as a shortcut on quiet days. They did that in recent years when the extension past the first drop wasn’t needed after covid- Connor98

Some great shots but also one of the most annoying commentaries I’ve had the misfortune of hearing. Great to see presentation at the forefront of the parks agenda going forward.- Connor98

Thorpe Park: General Discussion
Can’t judge a coaster that hasn’t opened, it looks impressive and has some very unique elements but I’m going to wait till I ride it before saying what opinions I have. I am extremely excited to do so.- Connor98

Smiler vs Nemesis
It’s very very impressive to look at. I wish there was a plaza/bar area where you could sit and watch the ride operate. But when it comes to engineering it has its flaws, the fact it’s trying to pull itself out the ground shows that. But it is amazing how they managed to fit that amount of track...- Connor98

The new Thorpe Park logo really showed its flaws on The Sun’s promotional poster, it just sunk into the background and became almost unnoticeable unless looking for it.- Connor98

Smiler vs Nemesis
Out of curiosity, how was Nemesis in its opening years. I’ve heard it did take a little time to get up to speed but apart from that I know nothing.- Connor98

Chessington World of Adventures Resort
I do feel for the park management as they didn’t choose Aramark. As far as I know It was a Merlin decision and now they just have to deal with it. But hopefully they are at least saved from eating it too.- Connor98

Swiss Cottage Restaurant
I’m all for this, people make a great suggestion when they say a package deal! But I’d be concerned about its longevity after a few seasons. And if it is to open please please keep Aramark away from it.- Connor98
