    Thorpe Park: General Discussion

Looking at this picture it looks as if there's rows for seating on the right hand side of the building facing left. And I wonder what the drainage channel is for?

    London Entertainment Resort: All Discussion

I reckon it's better that they've given themselves more time to avoid the park being unfinished when it opens. It would be a disaster if a park of this supposed quality were to open at a low standard.

    What are you listening to?

    Possibly the best chorus ever.

That one Illegal World of Warcraft Park in China

Well it's been open three years, and hasn't seen any problems- to my knowledge. It didn't open with the World of Warcraft theme, though, instead it was a bit of a Disney ripoff (well, a huge amount, almost as controversial as the WoW theme now- seriously, they had Disney logos and everything)...

    BigAl's No Limits Coasters

Yeah, I can sort of see what you mean. Still, I'm not sure that the entrance is heart-lined properly (and consider that Mack has a higher heartline value), as it stays quite straight- if you know what I mean? Probably not, so I had a bit of a go at a similar zero-G roll: I mean, it's nowhere...

    BigAl's No Limits Coasters

The zero-G roll looks pretty off to me. The roll starts too early, and then looks like the rotation is very slow through the apex. And I also still mainly use NL1 too, although I do have NL2 now, usually because I'm not quite used to it yet. I do have one coaster which I may finish which has...

Six Flags New England: General Discussion

Brilliant indeed, the second half of the layout (after the first barrel roll) looks absolutely incredible.

    The Smiler - General Discussion

But, to be fair to The Smiler, it is restricted both by space and height, whereas Helix had a huge amount of space and could go as high as it wished. In terms of coaster design, The Smiler is the more impressive; it's a huge amount of coaster in a tiny space.

    Six Flags: General Discussion

Considering the Grand National is still the best coaster at BPB, there is no way it should be replaced.

    Eau de Smiler

As I said, I haven't personally ridden Karacho, but I would always take lap-bars over OTSR's.

    Eau de Smiler

It doesn't require OTSR's, though, and it definitely wouldn't be uncomfortable. As I said a bit earlier, they would be like the well-received restraints on Karacho, which are said to be comfortable, and as someone who's ridden Blue Fire, I can say that lap-bars on inversions are a million times...

    Eau de Smiler

I don't know, considering how fantastically they work on Blue Fire, and I've heard praise on here about Karacho's lap-bars iirc. And considering the Gerstlauer OTSR's clamp down onto your lap instead of acting like those seen on B&M coasters, then there isn't any real point in having the over...

    Blackpool Pleasure Beach: General Discussion

Easily the best part of the ride. I think BigAl made a No Limits coaster that was something like this. I can't remember if it was located there, though.

    Lagoon: General Discussion

Some of you may be familiar with Bombora at Lagoon Park, which was built in house (i.e. the track was fabricated at the actual theme park). If not, here's a POV: For 2015, a much larger coaster is being made in the same way, called Cannibal. Much of it looks fairly similar to the coaster...

    Eau de Smiler

This; some people on here obviously haven't ridden many Vekomas.

    Six Flags: General Discussion

I agree with everything said here. RMC gets too much flack here when they are literally all about the riding experience and, as far as we know, only one person on here has ridden one. And seeing what Pete has said, about trying to throw you out of the car, I know he has his own opinion on what...

    Liseberg: General Discussion

I would agree with this; the last two inversions are the best two on the whole coaster.

    Six Flags: General Discussion

I'm a massive fan of RMC coasters and really think these two plans are also excellent, and maybe as good, if not better than, the previous RMC coasters which have been built. Colossus looks like its got an insane layout, full of airtime and general RMC craziness. I just hope the ride ops don't...
