Not saying it's a totally wasted trip if you don't go to Legendia but you will miss the best coaster in Poland- Martin

Live music, gigs, and concerts discussion.
Saw Magdalena Bay at the Manchester Apollo earlier this month. Third time seeing them since November 2024 but this was the longest set and had the most production. Crazy to think that when they announced the tour in summer 24 they were meant to only play to a few hundred people, that gig got...- Martin

ridecount - Into The Future!
These days I keep my list on an overly complicated spreadsheet of my own but it doesn't include individual trips, just running totals for each ride. So I still used ridecount and a couple other sites/apps to do that and have backups. Realised when I saw the news that I'd forgot to log a trip to...- Martin

Fireworks 2025
Yeah i only did Sunday and thought it was fine but nothing on last year. The lights were great, the fireworks were good, but the music was poor and the narration was weird like it was constantly interrupting itself to go "now the show is really ready to begin" over and over and then suddenly it...- Martin

[202X] Project Horizon (SW9?): Planning Approved
Rita is probably near the end of its life and there's always the question mark over The Smiler so the need to keep an eye on both of them could be a reason for not having any other big coaster plan in the works? They were absolutely right to rebuild Nemesis and do something new with it, and...- Martin

TS Fireworks: 7-9 November 2025
Definitely doing the Sunday, will possibly do Saturday too. Might be bringing the other half who will want to "actually go on some rides" and "get our money's worth" but I'm sure we'll still be around here and there and for the show- Martin

Jazzman and rapper Mckinley Dixon at the Pink Room at Yes in Manchester (upgraded from the basement room). He signed some vinyl afterwards but we needed to get the train home after that, would have been nice to get a pint with him or something. Baffling he isn't better known but hopefully one...- Martin

Clipping. at Project House in Leeds, they were only there last April for their only UK gig that year but obviously something about it touched them so they were back. They brought the singer Sharon Udoh who's performed on a few of their tracks with them again too which was great. To be honest...- Martin

Six Flags Over Texas: General Discussion
Feel like the 95° drop is less impressive than just being properly vertical, not sure what it offers at that height, and the usual lack of effort after the mcbr makes it not as impressive as it should be tbh- Martin

The incredible, terrifying debut by Death Grips, Exmilitary, has appeared on streaming under the name 'Michael' One of the most groundbreaking and important records of the modern era, if not ever, and also arguably one of the seeds of Kanye West going Like That- Martin
