TowersTimes have posted a fair few pictures of the course on their Facebook page.

The course looks good on the whole and quite a nice little side attraction. I'm not familiar with these courses so don't know how it compares to competition. Although as someone who has never seen something like this before it looks pretty good! Not sure if it's worth the price but I'd be tempted to pay for it when I visit next.

Photo products are also offered. There's a camera situated at the final zip line of both courses. Plus there's also another product offered where you have a GoPro on the top of your helmet and have your experience filmed, and you can purchase the memory card (with USB reader) afterwards.

Just wanted to say that we did this today and it was very good - I'd recommend it as a nice way to spend an hour or so whilst you're on resort.

I've moved this thread to General Discussion now that the attraction is open.

I did not do Treetops yesterday but a fair few did and I only heard good things. I did have a walk around the whole area though and it looks fantastic, a top class additon. I don't think there is anything more they could have done with it. Really looking forward to giving it a go sometime soon!

    :)

Going back to the costs and hotel privileges, as I mentioned a while back in a different thread, maybe its time for Alton to introduce a fully all inclusive package.

We did the high ropes yesterday, and exceeded expectations! The course is of a substantial length, not too long, not too short, features lots of peculiar obstacles, and around 4 zip lines along the way - tremendous fun!

I would recommend to anyone, although I'm not sure I'd pay £25, but £20 seems reasonable after annual pass discount. :)

Is it something that's worth booking in advance for? Thinking I might leave the Park a bit early on my next visit and do it around 4pm

At the moment I don't think you need to pre-book, because of recent events they haven't really pushed any advertising so it's fairly quiet.

Especially mid afternoon when a lot of people are eating and on park. :)

Went on it on Tuesday around half 3pm a couple of people had just set off when I arrived so had a clear run round the course which took me roughly 30 minutes. I really enjoyed it. I imagine at busier times it could get pretty hectic with you having people right in front of and behind you.

Was knackered seems as it was the hottest day of the year and was glad of the bottle of cider I had afterwards in the hotel.

Maximum group size is 8, and groups are dispatched every 20 minutes, so as long as you get yourselves in an order of fastest to slowest, it's all good. :)

I did really enjoy the tree top quest the other week, it was great fun and it looks really nice in person. I would probably do t again, but would also like to try out the low rope course to see what that is like.

Agreed. I wouldn't pay £25 for it, but £20 after discount would be reasonable. The low ropes didn't look quite as thrilling, so if I do it again I will do the high ropes again, as I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Is it as good as Go Ape, for those that have done it? A friend of mine took her children to Alton yesterday and was telling me how long they had waited for Tree Top Quest, but after some interrogation, she had meant Get Set Go Tree Top Adventure!

I haven't done go ape so can't really compare the two.

We're looking to do Go Ape in the summer some time. Very much looking forward to it!

I was very impressed with the staff and how nice they were. I was very nervy and had never done anything like that before. Thoroughly enjoyed it though......after, withmy glass of wine, sitting in the dragon bar+

Personally don't think it's worth £25 (due to the length) but it's good for building the resort side of the park (leave the sexual pun alone before anyone mentions it)
