Talking of April fools, may mate told me this was Rita's last year and I instantly knew it was April fools as it was too good to be true

On current form it wouldn't be replaced so that news would be kind of awful?

I'm no huge fan of it but it might as well be there. Dark Forest (heck, the whole back right corner of the park) would be even more tragic without it.
 
Apparently Disney have cancelled all hotel bookings through June 1st, does anyone have any reservations with towers between now and then? Have you received any information?

Which is pretty irresponsible of Towers, will encourage more people to film on ride as now they may have their video used by the park.

Yes I have a reservation in September and was planning on stopping on resort for fireworks. I do think the parks will open for summer, this isn’t based on anything however
 
Would have hoped you would have heard something by now, there was something on twitter about refund option being removed and vouchers being issued instead

I have hotels booked with Travel lodge for September in Blackpool and November for the Fireworks. Even if the parks open, this crisis may not be over, as Jess has an underlying health problem, we might still need to self-isolate until either this virus is declared gone or a vaccine is produced which the latter is probably 18+ months away

The refund option was removed by the government who I believe change the laws on refunds for hotels and the leisure business to assist business during this crisis. The refund in the form of a voucher is government policy and from what I understand, if for some reason you can't re-book your stay within two years, only then you are entitled to a refund.

It may well be that they approached loads of people with decent videos and only this one replied. Having said that, I don't know why they didn't use one of their own for Oblivion -
 
The Wicker Man and Smiler ones are "professional" ones though. Interestingly the Smiler one is pre-incident because you can see "Half way corrected" on walls at the 2nd lift hill just as they cut to halfway up. Clearly cut to avoid showing the phrase! And filmed while testing because of the engineer on the walkway at the 1st lift hill and end brake run.
