I would have left a lot earlier than 3.20pm with those queue times.
In fact I did exactly that last month. Waste of time being there when it's that busy with no filler attractions.

Most, but not everyone.I thought people were going back to school today
I thought people were going back to school today
some schools not back until tomorrow and some next week. Depending on teacher training days etc.
We shouldn't expect the park to open til 7 as they never usually do that. We've been fortunate with opening times this year so we shouldn't take it for grantedCan't understand why ride close hasn't been extended when it is clearly busier than Monday here today. Bizarre decision.

It is absolutely rammed today. We have managed nine rides (including Duel and Battle Galleons) having been here all day and extremely selective avoiding long queues.
Many people will have got on three or four. That is totally unacceptable, I will not be grateful just because opening times are normally rubbish.
Well the parks open til 4 next week so imagine how many rides people will get on then. Can't see it being much quieter they'll still be long queues probably

If crowds are bigger than expected they'll extend the close time. Simple.Well the parks open til 4 next week so imagine how many rides people will get on then. Can't see it being much quieter they'll still be long queues probably

Apparently Wicker Man should be operational by the weekend (from Towers customer services), but I'd take that with a pinch of salt

My mum had pain in her feet due to her shoes rubbing, so didn’t want to walk too much more. Combine that with a near 3 hour journey home (when you factor in the walk back to the car park), the fact I have school tomorrow and the fact that my mum and dad didn’t fancy queueing 60 minutes for Spinball Whizzer (the shortest major ride queue after we’d come off our last ride, Oblivion), and it seemed like a very good idea at the time. How come you left so early?
Out of interest, which rides did you guys go on @D4n? We managed 6 rides, but 3 of ours were less major rides (Hex, Duel and Congo River Rapids).
Was anyone else from TS there today, out of interest? The updates throughout the day would seem to imply that someone from the team visited today (unless @D4n was providing these updates), and my dad did spy someone in a Universal Studios Hollywood t-shirt riding Congo River Rapids, so automatically presumed they were an enthusiast.

I did Rita, Th13teen, Hex, Enterprise, Battle Galleons, Duel, Nemesis, Spinball, Smiler and Oblivion (twice) in that order. About 90 minutes for lunch and beer at the Welcom-Inn.
Very much a focus on minor rides in the peak of the day (and Nemesis which can handle the queues). Got on plenty of rides in the end but considering we were there first thing in the morning and the park was still heaving at 6pm I couldn't understand the decision not to extend.
At one point Nemesis, Galactica, Spinball, Smiler and Congo River Rapids were closed for capacity queues.
Th13teen 120, Rita 90
Wicker Man broken
As regulars and enthusiasts, we still had a laugh and a pint and did a few minor rides and had a good day. But for a first timer that could have been a woeful experience.
And no, not me on either count, I was in a Megafobia t-shirt and have never had the pleasure of sharing TS updates. Must have been another!

There has been at least one TS team member on park today, although this isn't a rare occurrence. Was anyone else from TS there today, out of interest?
Don’t forget Smiler and Oblivion and very wind sensitive. So apparently Nemesis, Oblivion, Smiler AND Wicker Man are all down.
Doesn't seem a great day to be on park!

There were a few moments that were somewhat gusty; it was pretty windy for a bit when we were stood in the Congo River Rapids queue at around 1pm!Don’t forget Smiler and Oblivion and very wind sensitive.
