Definitely a blind spot for Europa where it comes to video content.

The VR stuff, Happy Family and this are the worst additions of recent years.

I wish they would stick to what they're good at. Tacky animation ain't it.

I'd actually consider changing the mascots entirely now to remove the association to Disney. The place deserves to thrive on its own qualities. It had moved beyond being a budget Disney.

I'd be worried the film will flop outside of continental Europe because the general audience will see it as a rip off or homage to Mickey and Minnie Mouse

Yeah as others have said, I found it a bit naff. Pull-cord as the trigger is awful compared to a traditional trigger, trying to aim with one hand and pull on the cord? No. The targeting was way off, you'd try to point it at something and it'd be way out of line. Then the targets were all 100 or 200 points, didn't always respond to being hit, and very quickly the points disappeared and you were left with shooting at targets and nothing happening. I was sat regretting my life choices by the third screen.

Can we keep Mir and sacrifice this instead?

Not even guaranteed to do well inside continental Europe. MackMedia's previous two films Happy Family and Happy Family 2 were commercial failures in general.
And Happy Family was based off a successful children's book in Germany. Ed and Edda have even less appeal. Can't see it going well.
