Bubba Svens restaurant in Hotel Kronasar has debuted this week it's new army of delivery robots.
Waiters are still on hand for taking orders and questions however food and drinks are being taken to tables via the fleet of 30 robots

An interesting way to help tackle the staff shortage crisis.

Good point, and what if someone had to send their order back?Oh god, not sure how I feel about this. Well actually I am, I don't like it! I assume these robots cannot climb steps? As one area of the restaurant is on a slightly raised level, so some staff will still have to take orders to tables.

Manchester airport has some of these in one of the lounges. They seemed pretty good at not crashing into people who step in front of them but otherwise they didn't appear to be doing a whole lot. It was an interesting novelty to have around but not one I'd particularly want to see in a "proper" restaurant

Now we know what that work was for! EP have filed planning permission to bring back Flug des Ikarus to the English themed areaMeanwhile in the park only this weekend remains before the off season begins - however the pond in the English area has been fenced off, the steering wheels for the remote control boats in it removed and the water is being pumped out.

Oh also interesting is a new application has been filed for an "open station building and queue line" for Josefinas
Perhaps they are actually doing more work but this is a lower budget version than the originally announced plans for the area? Would assume then the Colonial Food Station remains just rethemed rather than replaced with the highly themed indoor quick service above the ride station... How bizarre this project has been.

It's England area, it's already a mess quite fittinglyInteresting! Looking forward to see how they are integrated as you can be sure that they won't just be filling the pond with concrete and plonking the ride down.

Does mean we’ll get a new ride in England, but god knows what it will be themed to.It's England area, it's already a mess quite fittingly
And of course we knew EP wouldn’t just chuck that ride away!

They are filming in Dubrovnik there; presumably for the new Croatia film which will act as a teaser for the new area & Voltron this year in the Traumzeitdome. Roland Mack mentioned such a project at an event recently.
