Legoland without the stunt show will be a real sad proposition. Huge part of the park and its history.
Neither show are currently listed on the website (though unsure if that's normal for the time of year)

I know Merlin are going through a very rocky patch, but I'm still slightly surprised by this. Legoland Windsor is already one of the worst rated major theme parks in the world on Trip Advisor:
By far the main reason it seems to get so many negative reviews is the queues. Losing the stunt show, puppet show and Sky Rider is going to take out quite a bit of capacity.

To add to the cuts as mentioned previously,
Staff who work at Chessington and Thorpe Park have received emails which have basically cut all entertainment to bare minimum.
Thorpe Park will only have Fright Nights again this is strange considering the beach refresh. However Chessington isn’t as surprising considering they only had one show last season.
I assume they’ve looked at the bottom line with no other thought other than money and seen they are spending money with no return

The beach refresh might be delayed as it's gone very quiet and seemingly some planning issues coming up.

We don't know fo sure what's been cut. If the rumours of outsourcing the entertainments are true then part of that deal could include roaming actors so from a guest perspective we may see no difference other than different actors playing the characters.Wonder what this means for towers. Curse without the roaming actors… FV… it turned bricks and made it feel alive. Such a downgrade.
I'm ever hopeful....

Legoland losing shows is a massive shame
Sounds like they’re changing providers rather than cutting all the shows.

This is what I'm thinking, at the moment we could be just hearing half the story - they could be just stopping the in-house productions to then outsource them.Sounds like they’re changing providers rather than cutting all the shows.

I think it’s likely that many actors will be able to audition for the same roles with whatever new company takes over. It’ll be a financial thingThis is what I'm thinking, at the moment we could be just hearing half the story - they could be just stopping the in-house productions to then outsource them.
In my view, the actors and acting quality has never been an issue, but whoever puts the shows together and directs them could do with replacing

And day tickets too.Pirate takeover tickets are available again for passholders

So.
Was it:
A) an error that tickets weren’t available and Merlin/AT’s social media team were just assuming
or
b) no one purchased a hotel stay so they had to open it up again to save face?
Or C) they where unsure if they could provide staffing levels that would cover the demand for day guests and didn’t want to impact hotel guest experience but now they are more confident.
Genuinely A& B are valid but C is likely to.

Would be good if they would hurry up and confirm the rest of the season open days from Aug... pass holders pre book shows when it is open yet still no official website update

I am happy they have put them up as the more expensive fast track is the less people will use it (Ideally there wouldn't be any)
