[2026] Bluey Coaster in CBeebies Land

I'm still worried that Towers will have underestimated the popularity of the coaster. I've seen so many comments from social media from adults saying they're more excited about it than their kids 🤣

Some people on various social posts of the trains are suggesting it’s a 4 person carriage so two forwards facing and two backwards?

It doesn’t really look like that to me but can’t really tell?

Taken from Alton Towers Facebook page...I assume these are the trains? Or part of them, such as the lead car on the front. I wonder if they will have truck like cars for the whole train or just the front one with a roof and whatnot.

There was not much of a description with the photo, just that they (the park) are busy building this year's new attraction.

I am assuming they put this out there before vloggers descend like a religious pilgrimage tomorrow morning.
I dont understand this train design at all? Its almost like it’s being designed by someone who does not go to theme parks.

Sitting at the front of the train and being the driver is the most fun for kids (and adults), so why take that away. Why not have Bluey and Gran at the back if you must have them in the ride car?

Why reduce capacity by two for what is already going to be a low capacity ride?

I get that you always have a slightly blocked view from people in front, but this is just, I don’t get it.

It hasn't reduced the capacity by two; each car will seat two riders.

Octonauts is the same you can't see out of the front one.

It hasn't reduced the capacity however. The front car still has two seats just like every other row, it just happens that the theming on the front is in the larger side.

I think your missing the point of it being a child’s ride entirely

My daughter would love nothing more than to have bluey and bingo at the front, kids will honestly love it

If it has onboard audio on it as well or at least audio clips during its cycle it will be perfect for the target audience

It won’t matter to the little ones! I think It looks fabulous

Would she not love it more to say she drove Bluey and Gran around though? She got to sit at the front and steer and press the buttons?

I think the my biggest concern is that I don’t think you should ruin the ride experience with a prop, and that if the person who designed this does not get that, I worry about other projects.

It's Bluey and Bingo. .

They are both Grannies (Rita and Janet) - its a brilliant episode.

This has been done countless times, slinky dog dash, the runaway mine train, it’s a themed zero car

I would argue that part of the experience is the prop. Otherwise it’s just a purple train?

The Whole idea is that your in bluey and bingos garden, and they are taking you for a ride in their granny car, it’s as simple as that, and the kids will love that aspect!

It does seem though like the majority disagree with this view and very much like the zero car (and see it heavily appealing to its target audience), so it’s probably somewhat unfair to say ā€œif the person who designed this does not get thatā€¦ā€

I think a lot depends on type of coaster. Bluey/RMT etc it's fine and fits in well with the target audience, a thrill coaster you probably want something more like Wicker Man with the ability to view the layout ahead.
