2026: General Discussion

Looks like the monorail has reopened today. Only 41 days after the season started - but better late than never I guess.
My main question for this, which trains are running and haa its operating system changed. Please let Cow Train be back

I get the distinct impression that you really want the cow train back...
When was the Cow Train last used. And maybe each train could get its own soundtrack again
The doors were open on it the other day on both the Cow train
I have never seen used and Cow Train not seen used for a long time
When did Celebration Train and Cow Train Daisy last run when did you last see those 2 operate
Cow Train I thought it was named Daisy
Like what other park has a Cow Train
Celebration train is back at last Cow Train only one not seen in years
Cow Train
How long has it been since the Cow Train ran haven't seen that one either in years
Jelly Bean ran first day of the season. Just Cow Train.
Should be noted I don't know but the Cow Train was moved to the very back of the sidings not sure if it did it on its own or was shunted.
Speaking to a ride operator of the Monorail today and they are hoping to have Cow Train back next year. With the exception of Cow Train all the trains are capable of running
or whether the Cow Train is returning this year.
Hoping Monorail has an upgrade to loading proceedure to allow fast ops to get 6 trains running especially as last a ride op said they might be repairing Cow Train
Really hoping Cow Train is back this season. If that happens all locos are back in service

Hopefully this makes Goose a little less hissy.

My main question for this, which trains are running and haa its operating system changed. Please let Cow Train be back

A little while back Towers were desperately trying to source some new switchgear for the monorail which was proving very difficult.

The alternative I was told if they couldn’t, was to strip what they needed from a train which they were obviously trying to avoid at all costs as they want all trains operational. I never did find out if they sourced it so I am interested to see what trains run this year.

I did know this when I posted on the monorail thread diffusing the track support rumours but I have to be careful what I say. However it’s clear they are trying to get everything back operational.

I remember quite a few years ago and correct me if I’m wrong Towers used to have like a forum for guests or selected people to attend to discuss there views and research as such?

I would be interested to know if this is still a thing and even more interested to see if the GP bring up what enthusiasts do.

I visited for the first time this year and whilst it was a somewhat pleasant day it is really disappointing about Toxicator and the water effects after only 1 year of service but would also be interested if the GP notice the upkeep of the park in general.

Another note is food, visited after 2pm to get the deal in Pizza Pasta and noticed the screens above the pizza display? Does anyone know what these are actually for? But still came to just under £40 for 2 people and 2 drinks. Eye watering! Also the apple juice tasted like water it has been watered down that much it was practically undrinkable! It left a horrible taste!

As for service, The Coach House had a huge Que all day with just one staff member it seemed, they really need to sort this out and make it more efficient!

Such a shame about pizza pasta that always used to be the highlight to our trips. The pizzas used to be good with lots of choice, pasta, salad, and of course refillable branded drinks.

What could be better than eating 16 slices of pizza, 2 litres of fizzy Coke and then going on nemesis!

The thing I’m wondering about Pizza Pasta having replaced fizzy drink refills with fruit juice is; aren’t they missing the whole point of free fizzy drink refills in buffet restaurants?

I thought the whole point of free fizzy drink refills was to fill people up on cheap stuff to produce so that they ate less food?

It seems like such a bizarre decision, given that it is also relatively low-cost to offer fizzy drinks on tap. Plus, it makes the offering a bit more appealing. At a guess, maybe the dispensers were due for replacement, and they didn't want to fork out?

Another downgrade on an already mediocre product for the price you pay.
