[2026] Monaco Themed Area (Silver Star Re-Theme)

Now the Halloween season is over, Silver Star's entrance has been moved to as construction work begins for the new Monaco area retheme to debut next year. To start with the remodel the Silver Star outdoor queue and entrance have been fenced off.

Are there many big changes planned for this area? Or is it just a rename and a mild revamp of Silver Star’s entrance?

Fare thee well, former Silver Star entrance arch, I will be unsurprised if you get re-utilised and refreshed for use by another attraction.

- Plays 'Ride On, Silver Star' and 'Just Drive' in minor - 🫡

Was really excited when the current F1 Theme came on when I was last there in the station.

What happened to the cardboard cut-out of Lewis Hamilton? Did they just get the red spray paint out?

Probably replaced him with Kimi Antonelli, though they might have removed him after the video of him on Circuit Breaker at Cotaland was released.

Have strong fond memories of that original queue line, during my many visits with so many groups and friends I’ve been there with.

Heres to what the new area will look like next year. When I take more new people to visit the park.

I’m intrigued as to what changes will be made. I’d like to think they’ll be substantial because that area is now the last piece of France which is as incongruous as Eurosat was pre-retheme. Its also been in the works for quite some time, having featured in the 50th anniversary book since the start of the season.

I hope I’m right, but I do struggle to understand how they can deliver a large scope of change given the timescales and the nature of that existing area. If anyone can do it though, I’m sure Roland can.

I actually had no idea Silver Star was technically in the France area until they announced that it would be rethemed to Monaco. I suppose if you think about it then it would kind of have to be in France as it's the closest area but as you mentioned the clash between the theming in the main part with the fountains and Parisian buildings and the "Car Dealership Of The Future" theming of Silver Star could not be more prounounced if it tried

I am not expecting much here - but I am certainly expecting the station building to look and feel nicer. Not that I actually had a problem with it before... as themeless as it was, the operations were so outstanding that you never really spent much time in there anyway.

I’m guessing we might get a bit nicer queue line rather than the little cattle pen outside and fairly themeless indoor queue line through the tin shed station.

It looks a bit like someone has gone all out with the rock and plant rotation tool in Planet Coaster.
Not to be "that guy", but when it comes to faking a landscape, that is how you do it.
A "jungle" set in a TV studio might have thirty identical plastic pot plants, all turned and placed on different height risers. Think of building cliffs for a model railway: you have about 4 different "rock" moulds you pour plaster in to, then just keep rotating them to new orientations when you stick them in place. Lego only make so many plant pieces, but you can combine them in to a whole rainforest. Etc.

.... Of course, the fact that these are real plants and rocks kinda nullifies this whole post...
