A new skyscraper in New York City will contain a 300 foot enclosed drop tower.

Having done lex Luther at magic mountain (415ft) a few times while a good drop tower it was no better or forceful than drop towers less than half the height.
Zumanrajo was the same really, pretty freaky going 420 odd foot in the air. But the actual drop was nothing special. Gutted I missed out on doing it when they'd run Kingda Ka whilst the tower was operating.

The one at Knoebels was tiny by comparison but had some real force coming down and hitting the breaks.

I have just ridden Falcons Fury for the first time about 30 mins ago. Definitely my favourite drop tower now. That tilting and holding sequence is unreal.
My fav drop tower. Not been on it since 2016 though, as was shut when went in 2022 and didn’t visit Busch on my recent trips to Orlando.

My 11 year old didn't fancy it. Went on alone and it definitely gets you a bit nervy. Loved it though. 🤣
